hi everyonr, sorry i am not posting much. My polychondritis symptoms are causing more problems and pain, and I am spending every moment I can with Sucré, I even had him on my own Thursday for a while.

Hi all - just to say goodnight - yes boilerman came, bosh & everyone, thank you 👍️, I was up earlier than I needed because better that than be caught unprepared so I'm absolutely dropping now 😴 off to bed with this quick iou. Repair is not too bad, (well it's a dismantle job but no serious talk of replacing) and quote is fine barring it escalating depending on what he finds, so just this once I will concede to your think positive side vs my pessimism frog 😉. The only thing now is fitting it in because it is such an inconvenient time for me so it may have to be week after next but that's not a big problem. Have a good night all and will see you tomorrow 😘. xx

Morning Jojo darn it you missed the chance for a photo next time. Also if you have a tape measure (or even a piece of string will do) measure around it so you can prove in cms how much it swells. That might still be possible today.

I am a tiny bit worried about Paul. One of his ankles is swollen. No pain just the skin pinching. I ignored it at first thought it was sunburn. Tried piriton yesterday today I will have to contact the Dr if it hasn't gone down overnight. I mean it could even be a DVT or his heart getting worse, but him being him he wouldn't let me ring anyone last night. Men!

Elfie is a bit miffed though. He thought there was a vegan food market in Lichfield today, but it was last week bless him. We will find something else for him to do. Unless Paul's foot is still swollen (see last paragraph of my post to Bosh) then we will be trying to get a Drs appt. You'll see I'm worried fearing his heart, cellulitis or even a DVT. I said to him you'll have to see someone and get it sorted I need you alive - I don't want to do the paperwork😁 That made him laugh a bit. He is on site in London or is it Ireland all week so needs sorting this weekend.

Hope you & Paul are ok frog, any joy with the doctor's appt? 😔 do hope it's something & nothing and you've been able to get some advice 🤞. Especially as Paul is due away. I hope Elfie is not worrying too much and keeping occupied. Thank you so much for the lend of the tea urn, there is nothing I would like better! - it will be no end of help, and will be returned in due course with thanks and a suitable box of biscuits for the next function or 'church do' (I do love a church tea ☕️). Sleek has filled me in on the general local happenings, yes I did think 'guitar man' would probably be the trampoline side it sounded all too likely 😣. Time for a burst of something from your side - twinkle twinkle on a recorder? or just a selection from Elfie 😉. Yes boilerman is very very old school, you've got that right, in most things as well as doing a proper job; unimpressed by modern life so in that regard we get on. Change & decay in all around we see etc. Have you seen they are dragging a well-known plain choc brand ever further from its heritage and into horrible 'more contemporary' packaging, ugh 😕 cheap & nasty looking, they should if anything go back, to one of their early classic designs. Oh and new flavours too, you'll never guess - salted caramel! imagine, hours in a boardroom coming up with that 😒. (I believe there was controversy over their ceasing to be 'accidentally' vegan, and therefore a question mark over their past production 🤨 so prob not in your good books for that, do you buy 'their' actual vegan bars? Thank you Joan hopefully the boiler will work out on the dates I've got, at least I know it's ok to wait now someone's had a look at it. Just have to watch the pressure and fiddle about with the mains water if needs be. I can't believe the freezers have been back on at the shop and you just couldn't make out Charlie's accent, he will have to write little notes down or draw pictures 😄 or do you not tell him you can't understand, so as not to offend? Hope the shop is getting straight now. That was a long day's work for you at Garrard's and people now wouldn't believe your weekly pay would they, I didn't earn much more my first job as it was one of the so-called youth training scheme things. Hi bosh, it's all go in the doughnut world this week, did they let the guy owe his 20p was he a 'regular' I wonder? As to the child with the tantrum, I'm afraid there are no doughnuts at all for little boys who have tantrums in bakeries, ah life is so easy when you are an armchair parent 😂. How long will the LA cheese sandwich abstinence last I wonder, also very gripping news 🤭. Going back to the subject of midnight feasts yes it was such a classic school story thing wasn't I, I expect the fact of children having tuck boxes was a real thing not that I know much about it, but how in many schools Matron let you get away with such things I don't know, maybe that was the snitching hour when others told tales on you 😄. I always remember watching a documentary on a boys' boarding school and just feeling so sorry for the little lads, but whether it turned out to be the 'making of them' or not I have no idea. You're right about never getting round to the last books in that school series that can happen sometimes and then do you or should you go back later? sometimes a good idea in my experience sometime not 🤷‍♀️.
