Thanks all a had sort of a nice afternoon out, which is nearly as good as it gets for toads nowadays, though in an ideal world a bit less tiredness would have helped but it wasn't the best night, can't be helped. Oh also tried to go to one place that wasn't open for the bank hol (never occurred! or I would have checked. Never mind 😄).

Belated Happy Birthdaaaaay to Kari frog, sorry I didn't remember to say it yesterday my wits were a bit scattered, Elfie obviously outdid everyone else put together 😂 so funny. Glad you had a nice time & found the ideal pressie I'm sure. Will catch up properly soon - after today I do intend to try and mend some of my ways (because I can't blame all the world's boilermen for my own bad habits 😬), lists must be written rules must be stuck to etc 😣. I need to be much more like Reshmi's lovely cat taking time for itself (Sleek will help me with the nice towels & treats & face masks, I'm sure), and less like yesterday's downward spiral yoga pose. Hi bosh, thank you for the not rubbish at all post 😁 proper reply soon. My £3.33 is still untouched 😄 I didn't go near any shops (as for dress-purchasing, what strange custom is this, I don't think I'm familiar with it 😂 not that I don't like them just got out of the habit of skirts &c - maybe one day I will buy myself a fantasy frock of sorts). That meringue dessert sounded ideal - ce and light and even better your Mum didn't have to prepare that part of the meal so less work for her.

So is that it you don't have to see that part of SF for a while? If so that's very very good. I can't believe someone actually had the nerve to ask for alcohol! Not a problem if it had been offered of course but to ask for it is a bit rude and a bit odd when obviously no-one else was drinking! Well it takes all sorts as they say.

We 'sort of' have visitors. Let me explain they are friends and they have come down to stay here in their caravan (with their two cats in it!) and are on the tiny site here so we had to eat out last night a late night for me. I will be laquered all day…..

No rain yet and it was supposed to rain overnight! I was telling Bosh we sort of have visitors all week they are staying nearby in their caravan all week with their little cats. Sleek will nip up to make some friends later I expect. She just had to chase of that big cat again, but she did it! There really is life in the old cat yet!

Ah yes we too had to extra careful for a meal out with our friends yesterday evening then they came back for a cuppa which led to a very late night for a Frog so you have my sympathy. Not everywhere is open on bank holidays, but it's easy to forget.

Kari did indeed have a good birthday and actually was thrilled with Elfie's singing. Such a shame you can't hear it. Maybe😉 Perhaps that will be possible with the new site. (Did you see that on the main page or do you go straight here?) He had a bit of an accident bless him…

Thanks in arrears for all the fun stuff & the pictures frog, & anything I missed, I love your jigsaws 😊 lots of memories of choc bars past etc, I loved Bar Noir! the dark version of 'bar six', and Waifa rings a bell. Weekend boxes of chocolates too, the humble 'lower budget but ok' box of chocs is a thing of the past now really, 'poor-quality road' gets such bad reviews now they're clearly not worth buying. (Not on your shopping list now anyway I realize and I have more dark and or vegan myself nowadays). I love you not being able to get the jigsaws out of the cupboard too 🤭😂. Thanks for trying with the frog ornament too you do 'see' him, the more you look, I get the idea 👍️. Glad you have had a dribble of rain and Elfie seems to have been helping here there & everywhere in the garden. Sorry about his little accident, maybe it was because of borrowing equipment designed for Daddies, when the time is right he should perhaps make sure to get something branded as the Best an Elf can get 🤔😄. Hope all was well at cat visiting today, fingers crossed for Margot 🤞 and also no more cat intruders, well done Sleek! 😊. Hope your caravan visitors are having a nice time, the weather is holding off, better for them if not the garden - but rain is definitely coming 🌩️. Bit of a late night for you too yesterday 😬 I was far too overwired to get to sleep early but at least was ok after that. I may get the chance to nip back to the place that was closed and get a lift next time, it's not far. I hadn't heard about C Coffee I get lost as to who owns what anyway, there often seems to be some sort of shadowy 'parent company' involved in a lot of firms nowadays. morning all. Still waiting on getting my bike back from the dealer after repair.
i think the radiator is holding things up as it was last bit to arrive.
hope I get it back soon as the KTM is my fav one in the wet weather as it has good weather protection and doesn’t get that dirty.
i am impatient when waiting for bike stuff.
i did some maintenance on the Beemer Saturday with help from Sucré, paid the price in pain after.

Sorry about the itchiness from the steroids Stuart 😣 I had both my knees done once, I didn't get that from it I don't think; it was quite some time ago, I had fluid drawn off as well I suppose rheumatoid is different and therefore reacts differently maybe 🤷‍♀️. Hope you've been able to put your feet up at least enough to help the jabs work or have you been unable to resist the garden etc. Glad Ollie seems ok 👍️ have a good evening :) xx

Hi bosh, ooh a poem for me, thankyou 😊😍 & very well put, an escape from 'the usual'. You either have a good memory of me having at least one green nail polish or it was a safe bet 😂. Btw there was nothing notable or pry-worthy to report, it wouldn't matter anyway (there is nothing super private about me no hush hush state banquets or hobnobbing with nobility that has to be kept out of the press 😄). I just did some walking & pottered to some slightly different local places, bit of exploring went in a couple of pretty churches, got a bit lost, the usual toad sort of thing 😂. One of the churches wasn't open that's where I'd like to go again, it was at about my max walking distance so like I said to Toni I'll see if I can get a lift another day. I'm glad I spied you in the coffee shop in my poem 😀 it will be Costa Packet by any other name soon, sort of, I actually had no idea they were owned by 'Pokey-Pola' now! Talking of sweet things for littleys, I may have found their ideal cake, a strawberry tart that a supermarket reviewer said tasted like C*lpol; 'even has the aftertaste of it. It wasn't horrible, but won't be getting again'. That 'wasn't horrible' amused me rather 😂. I really don't know why people buy small 'exceedingly' sweet looking little cakes and then seem surprised they are very sweet 🤷‍♀️. Hope your day is going ok & hope I haven't missed anything I meant to reply to, glad to hear your sis seems to be doing cautiously better 🤞. As long as we can get on and our café will definitely still be here we will suss it out I'm sure. I quite liked being able to look at 'recent discussions' if I lost my page here it usually was a short-cut to the café. What might be useful? I don't know things to help visually impaired? the ability to post short vids even? (Elfie singing🎶 🤣) Although I do remember on the old platform some naughty videos appearing so perhaps not. Time will tell. We don't like change, but we do love our café here so we will cope I hope.

Oh gosh Margot's x-ray frog 😯 so very clear, and helpful to Sleek's diagnosis no wonder she was able to be so cat-egorical. Fascinating to see, I'm glad they are happy with her, I imagined a clean hairline sort of thing but that is quite off & out of alignment (it looks), poor little thing. Yes very wiggly! Hope you have less extra errands &c today and can sit for a minute and digest those two big meals in a row 😬. Weather ok here so far, as forecast, but must make the most of it there is not much consistent dryness to be had for a while as you say, I hope your visitors get some nice bits & pieces at least. Lucky to have the last of the nice for the car show🤞(didn't the village just have one of those 🤔 or what am I thinking of). Yes I hope we'll gain rather than lose from forum changes (I guess removing chunks of old cafe posts was part & parcel of this). Hello Joan, my shopping was fine thanks nothing vital missing. Yes nice to have a few things you like, some are harder to buy nowadays with prices going up and quality going down - what happened to nice fruit cake for example, there's only one in al fresco like proper fruit cake and people call that dry & 'not as good as it used to be' (you read that all the time now!) Hope your day is going ok the weather is most peculiar here, lashings of rain and now sunny as you like 🤷‍♀️. Take care 😘 xx

Hi bosh, hope you are having a good day and group was ok 👍️. Good picture, I think you & I can safely say we are succeeding at remaining silly 😂. I have not done much today I have been sorting out some old info that I backed up at one time on usb drives etc, unwisely in hindsight, unless you organize stuff to perfection at the time you come back and it doesn't mean much 🤪. Must go and do something outdoorsy or slightly more useful while the sun is out. Today I am sporting a bluey pinky mother of pearl type effect nail polish 🐚 professional manicure would be a definite advantage though, trying to do your not very good right hand with your left hand when you aren't left handed 😄 it's a wonder I make as little mess as I do. Cutting them is a whole other story, why do they need doing every five minutes 🙄. Hope the rest of your day goes well, injection day for me - take care see you anon :) xx
