    Oh dear, I did try to soothe you all down at the time, we were only shouting 'cuckoo' to try and warn you!

    I thought it most unfair that he left his calling card on my head.........I have now chummed up with a robin who will tell us if there are any birdie lurkers in the tree.

    I bought some lovely gold stars for the tree today except that when I got them home I found one of them was a butterfly and I'm trying to work out how that comes into Christmas decorations. I have clipped it to my artificial flower display - dandelions and daisies dried and dipped in wax - and it looks quite well there.

    I'll just get me a refill in the mug and then we can set off - Trish! Please watch the axe..........

    Before we go this is real they are running out of blood so if you have family or friends who can donate blood and are near a bossy and it is safe for them to go they could do with help.

    Annie if you have another mug of tea don't you moan that you need the toilet. Val and I had a right time with you I had to strip all my sheep skin I was sitting on to make a tent while you did a wee behind the tree no one was there to see you?

    Every five minutes you need to wee.

    Love your hat I have seen men with them on at foot on the telly. If your

    Are you out sorting the Christmas tree? What about the 40foot one I brought back from Keilder? Took me ages to tie it to my skateboard, then it ruined my skateboard wheels, don't tell me we're not using it now :shock: :cry::cry:
    I sent a photo of it to Mrs Lawson, ask her how nice it is.. :lol:

    Squellllllllllllllllllch! Val, you do look lovely, berries all over you. Prickles as well, but we won't mention them. That's a good tree, it's a lovely shape and it's come ready decorated with holly but I can see a little pixie face staring at me..............................

    We thought we'd have two this year, Tony...........I dunno, last year it had a bird's nest in it, this year it's got Val and a hobgoblin in it!

    I'm not that sure that my Mother-in-law isn't still in the big one actually...... Thinking about it, not really seen her since w got back, thought it was quiet! :shock: :lol:

    I did hear a kind of squawking noise earlier when I went round the back..........I'd forgotten the tree was there.

    What a lovely shape it is!

    Now that we are back, I will have a bedtime builders and some fig rolls - really need some chocolate but not at bedtime.

    Evening to one and all, warming hugs and hope everyone is safe and sound in the big freeze.
    Had "one of those days" waking up at nearly lunchtime, hours after my pills were due, which set me all to pot - think I am just about catching up with myself now that the day is over, probably overdosed in the process.

    Managed to go out with OH, the lane had been gritted, so that was good, had to gather prescription and put more orders in.

    Not sure if I will catch up with all the news, I see we have a tree, a large one at that.
    Let me sit quiet with a cup of T, I am in a dither again.

    Well, I think I had better have a melamine mug at the moment, till my pills work, (just realised I am 4 behind, no wonder I am a dither), thanks Tony, strong, with a nip of whisky if you would be so kind. XX Bubbles
