    I hope your sister gets that MRI soon. Before any permanent damage is done. Just to reassure you my back used to 'go' like hers regularly from about 21 till I had the surgery at 39. So all being well there hasn't been time for anything permanent. My damage isn't too bad I just can't feel some parts of that leg it works ok. The Drs kept ignoring me until it finally 'went' that time the leg stopped working and i could have stuck a knife in it it was dead. The pain in my back I never want to feel it again so I really want your sister to get sorted. That's why.

    Anyway One of BR's little friends wanted to see his room? Interesting bless her I kind of understand it I mean with small children their bedroom is 'their' space. Perhaps she was hoping to see his cuddlies😍

    Paul is being very well-behaved with his medication yes - probably not so well-behaved about elevating is foot though🙄

    There are some very odd people on Bracehook worth avoiding. It's the ones who message you I don't like that I don't really know. Creepy! That one was very creepy.

    So the naughtier treats are out of reach for small boys unless they have a handy BB to lift them up😂 He is a cheeky one BR, but cute I'm sure. Big school for him in September uniform shopping soon then? LA is still with Lorenzo let's hope for the best 🤞

    Morning Toady how is your part of the Midlands? Here we had rain overnight! Hoorah! Can't fault that can we? As long as it does the same tonight. Garden is 'getting there' for the afternoon tea next month. Unfortunately a lot of things are going over, but such is life. Bought some geraniums to fill some pots for colour.

    Elfie is still in 'Big bed' Sleek is coming over to you on her own. She fancies 'helping' you in the garden this was her here the other day

    Not the road again!🙄 No😣 I do hope a Toad will get some peace at some point in her life!

    Mind you they will be digging the road up here for the Church loo not sure exactly when and of course it (the soil pipe bit) is directly in front of my house. There will be traffic lights, but as I met the builders yesterday they will let me know when.

    Paul is doing ok and thinks he can already feel some improvement in his ankle/foot. Unfortunately he does have to stand most of the day instead of resting it. Still not needing to be excused too often though. Interesting that.

    Hi all 👋 tiring day have achieved v little 😳

    No not even anything outdoors frog, not like good little cats sitting there so prettily in the sunshine 😊 doesn't she look a dear. Tomorrow should be fine and they have taken a lot of rain off from the next day 🤞 we did have it overnight here. Your lavender is still looking lovely, and everything is very tidy. Yes things are going over far too rapidly, I took an agapanthus pic one minute (must find it) and now it's making seed pods like there's no tomorrow 😮. The buddleia is fab and once again I do wish it could be left as interest, it makes all the difference in that corner. Glad to hear Paul is doing ok and hope he notices continual improvement. Hope Elfie enjoyed his lie-in, I was (by chance) reading some feedback for some 'inferior' elves on shelves last night on nosegay and amusing myself, a lot about them being smaller than 'normal elfs', well you know what they mean but it took me a minute 🤭 and even this: 'Elf’s head is too small for its body. I am wholly disappointed and cannot do anything with this as the child will notice the head is too small' 😂. Then there was another item I looked at which the seller had photographed on a table with a whole page of medical paperwork visible, patient name d.o.b. drug info and dose and consultant, gosh can you imagine 😮. Hope your roadworky bits aren't too bad when the times comes and they do a good job. Have a good day tomorrow 😊 xx

    Good point Joan, yes I am in the middle of the road, probably the worst place to be in this instance 😂 ah well I would be, wouldn't I. Boilerman expects me to keep him posted if bits of the roads are closed, not sure how he expects me to know unless I patrol it every day both ends 🤨.     Hi bosh, that pic of me/the owl in the morning is more like me than you will ever know 😂 even the little feathery tufts, any HDs worst nightmare to deal with. Not much happening with me today, I have managed somehow to have a week with no early postmen or milkmen or anything else, so I have been able to stay in owl mode til a decent hour. Except that means I have not got much done because nothing made me get up 😬 oh well chores will keep. Glad you had a relatively peaceful day yesterday yourself hope today has been ok too. Funny about the white chocolate mousse diet 😂 there are probably all sorts of justifications you could come up with by that logic haha. Glad the pasty was nice and added cheer to your day 😊 I am about to embark upon a scone myself. I saw a gadget on nosegay, a butter applicator' that seemed to involve stuffing butter in a square tube so you could use it to apply like lipstick 🤨 never seen anything quite so odd (let alone messy and unhygienic?) I mean to lightly grease a frying pan I can understand, but to butter bread, most sorts would go into holes surely. May have to edit in a pic it was so odd. Talking of lipstick look forward to the poem whatever coin of the realm it is 😊. Have a good night :) xx

    oh dear, that butter stick idea does seem a bit annoying and ookey, i do agree with that.

    I don’t know if you ever used to watch Seinf**d? It’s just I do remember episode of that comedy. The guys decided to shave his face with a stick of butter or something similar and he was carrying butter around at all times in his pockets in the summer in New York
    okay the details may not be quite right, but I certainly remember the butter stick shaving.
    Yes unhygienic and extremely disgusting ha ha

    I have a bag so full of paints and powders
    Skin friendly, of course, not allergy sparking like the clam chowders
    Foundation that claims to make me look perfect and glowing
    Mascara that creates goddesses with no streaky eyes showing
    Lip balm flavoured with almonds, but surprisingly soapy - tasting and low in folic acid
    Delicate costly blusher to make an angry complexion look placid
    But ultimately, I know that my psoriasis cream is my skin’s best friend
    Minimum make up and a comfort blanket - cosmetics bag are all I need in the end

    I love your little poem it's so sweet and yes bang on right really makeup is not ideal for those of us with sensitive skin. Just for special occasions really, but we do like to look nice. I mean what's the point in a lip gloss low in folic acid anyway?😂

    Can't see the pint of that butter stick though in fact it looks rather gross I think I'll stick to my marge and a clean knife every use!

    That bottle of regret wow! It's spot on it really is corrosive.

    Morning Toady you didn't get outside? Mind it did rain on and off all day here. Hoping for abetter day today it's the village car show.

    So I have walk with Kari then foodbank then back here to make cobs for everyone who comes. Then get two cars down to the field. Exhausting! I feel tired already just thinking about it. Bed late for me tonight and no Sleek on the sofa watching telly and no Paul to help either. Am I grumpy? Yes definitely.😳

    Your agapanthus went over while you were looking the other way? I can believe it. If I cut back the cat mint though it will do me a 2nd flowering if I'm very lucky maybe????

    Inferior elves those scary looking ones do have 'pin heads' I think anyway and are too evil looking. Our Elfie looks sweet and gentle. He's up today did quite a bit of my jigsaw yesterday because it was raining so much. Are you telling me someone posted potentially confidential info online?😯

    Morning frogmorton yeah we having a good time just had a rough night with my son his stomach was playing up so we had to go back to the caravan earlier he missed the entertainment but he's bounced back plenty of calpol and he seems pretty much back to himself.     Toady (()) have a good day my Dr’s appointment tomorrow is quarter to four. It’s to change a tablet then I have one on the 6 August to be weighted and measured and a blood test. I hope when your bit of the road is done that it doesn’t take weeks.

    Toni (()) you are busy today you won’t have time to rest I hope it all goes well. You don’t need rain as well. Your Fig likes you spending money on it.

    Hi all 😊 nice day.

    Too nice not to go outdoors so yes I have frog 🌱👍️ bit of tidying & inspecting mostly. Bench is ok ta, hasn't had a thorough exposure to the elements as I've had it covered on & off but seems alright, if I can shuffle it into a fairly respectable angle for pic taking I will do so 🤭. Yours will give it a run for its money whatever you do with it, as mine only had a £2.99 pot of something lavished on it, so Elfie will not be drawing any comparisons 😄. Yes the agapanthus really went for broke this weather, the pics below were only a week into July or so, one white just coming out of its 'shell', one blue out - now all well into seed podding as I say. We will try and get second flushes out of anything we can 😊 I can't think beyond that! It really is nice weather so I do hope it's like this with you for today's activities. Catering 'again' you say, no fair, how did that happen, sudden lack of volunteers? 🤨. Meanwhile cats and elves get to watch tv & do jigsaws, maybe Elfie will nip and give Stuart a hand with his and leave you some of yours? Being as you say a sweet and thoughtful Elf. Anyway hope all goes well and it's a good evening. Cobs buttered without the aid of the revolting butter thing 😣 ew not for me either, mad idea. Yes there are all sorts in pics on nosegay, I blame people snapping with their mobiles for some of it (someone put a pic of their birth certificate once 😮) I think they just upload without paying attention to what else is on there. Generally it's just not caring what's in the background 🤷‍♀️ taking pics against all sorts, like clothes hung up in the kitchen right next to breakfast muddle and ketchup bottles &c. Can't understand it myself, how hard to make one tidy nosegay corner? Hope you have not too late a night and Paul is getting on ok too 😘 xx

    I am watching the weather like a hawk Joan it only needs to move the rain up a bit tomorrow and I may still be ok for the drs 😄 I will be back before yours anyway. I want to walk back if I can rather than have to get a taxi if it's really wet. If I get a chance I can walk so far and see where the roadworks are starting, hopefully they won't be too long doing each stage but it is all new pipes they can't do it silently can they 😒.     Hi bosh, hope your walk to and for group was nice, it seems quite pleasant walking weather not too much of anything. Well I have been browsing some makeup today so your poem is very topical, I was looking at some lipliners in Superbug that were reduced and on a 3 for 2, then they went up again while I was thinking, now they are reduced but no multibuy, oh it's too much like hard work 😂. Maybe if I go out tomorrow I will just go in the branch for 5 mins and look for myself. Yes the make-up bag is very much as you describe it something nice to have but often you do just fall back on minimal makeup & your tried and tested simple things 😊 half the stuff I was looking at online I barely know what is for it has become so ultra rarefied, I mean "Cloudlight Soft Glow Veil - Golden Hour"? (face powder to you & me). I never watched Seinfeld no I'm not sure why 🤔 and I think I also blur it into one with Home Improvement and a few others from round that time 😄 one day I should watch an episode back to try it. No to the butter shaving though 😱 lol. Have a good evening I am off to the vampire nurse on the morrow 👋 xx
