So I watched “Thursday”, it didn’t live up to S*ype, only joking lol, the hype

It was aesthetically pleasing in a gothic somewhat morbid way of course

But “Thursday” seems to bat ( now that’s a good verb haha) her eyelashes, utter a few cliches and that’s mostly all that happens

Her pal the female werewolf always has a perfect manicure - but I wouldn’t like to be the manicurist in that situation 😱

Cookies garnished with insects and cobwebs are eaten, I suppose that’s one way to lose weight, for those who need to, of course 🤢

I think I’ll give group a miss tomorrow,

I did the thank you notes and delivered a couple; leaving the rest till today. Dr Reshmi I did indeed rest🙂. Just cuppa and cold drinks for the hedge trimmers.

My back is still a bit sore, but I'll go to the foodbank and do what I can. I agree about the group it might be too much at least I am cool in the car.

That rest area sign🤣 very funny. I hope BIL doesn't leave the loo seat up as though he's a single man too. Paul often does when he's been on site all week. When he's here he is usually very polite and respectful. Was very glad he was away yesterday so i could just do something very quick for my dinner. Happy also to be the life and soul of the party but must be in bed by 9 too😁

Fly count up to 289 as of today, but I think I got them all none to see today. Not including the ones who flew out when I opened the doors in the morning. When the helpers (not the actual ones just kind people) decided to bring in the 'empty' plates covered in cake and butty left-overs they also brought in loads of flies🙄

We have 4 working farms here including a chicken farm? Need I say more?

All sorted now though. I am an excellent fly catcher. Slowly slowly…..then gotcha!I have a fly catching kit - a jug and a piece of card.

Luckily l was expecting the hedge trimmers and we are all done after 2 days' work. It looks lovely now. What on earth? tracked for something costing pennies?

Problem is Paul really needs to be off his feet resting still ATM, but the jobs are booked in and he worn't give up. Sleek probably will go a sleuthing she enjoys that sort of thing. She also mentioned putting a catter (tracker) in his case……

I love the pea flowers and some ripening toms always welcome. Someone in the village gave me about 20 yesterday they are gorgeous😊

Slept til late but I was awake at the Stuart type of 9'clocks too so it wasn't the best. Hope you had a decent restorative night and Elfie is feeling less limp, well I know he is naturally floppy but that's different 😁. Yes I can see his Daddy not easily being able to take time out or wanting to especially, none of us do really if we can help it, hope a natural bit of a break occurs sometime. Ooh I love the idea of a catter I have always wanted one for all my neighbours - just to know when they're definitely out, I don't care where or what they're doing, so it wouldn't really be spying, would it? Glad the fly 'lodgers' are going well down to the last one or two, you do sound a master at it 😄. I have mostly little moths at the moment 🦋. I hope you get on ok at food bank if you take it fairly easy & the heat is not as much as yesterday. I must get some washing out otherwise it's such a waste. Thank you I'm just happy to have grown a few things this year, bit eccentric to grow any vegetable in a small quantity as it's just a handful of peas but in this case the flowers are worth it I do like the mix of colours 😊. Nice that someone brought you some toms so perfect for summer aren't they. I can see now looking again what was funny about your text box, yes of course mine doesn't look like that normally but it somehow didn't strike me what was different. Have a good day :) xx

Hello Joan glad you had a nice time in the shops 😊 'my' Ms had a sale on (I suppose there is usually something or other these days they don't stick to 'end of season' sales do they) but nothing nice or not in my size anyway. Or my idea of cheap 😂. Thank you I'm glad the tomatoes have had this burst of sun to ripen them, there will only be a handful but it's the fun of growing them as much as anything. Yes breathing is a bit of a luxury at the moment bosh 😮 I wouldn't want a walk in the daytime myself either. Shame about group we like to hear about it and whether you went to Cost a Packet etc but it will probably be better soon. I am not doing much today so I thought I'd come in early, then I might put the internet off this pm and have a proper rest instead of coming here then wandering off onto other browsing shopping and general timewasting 😳. I Take your point about “Thursday”, It’s definitely aimed at a certain type of audience I agree

but I do remember that the previous series did have a few insightful quotes, whether they were actually by our friend Poe, I can’t quite remember but they made it all a lot more interesting

this series however seems a little bit bland, a bit like a very bland sugar and cinnamon - less porridge but without the nutritional value I guess lol

I understand, I don’t like missing group either and I appreciate that it’s interesting for us all but you know how it is when the weather is unsavoury as a littley’s chocolate brownie its best to stay put, unless there’s an emergency like Toady running out of mushrooms of the non-magic variety - only joking, of course haha
