Discussion Area Names - New Platform

We are currently creating new spaces on our shiny new platform (same as the Categories on here) and are looking to you to say if there are others that should be there and if the names make sense. Currently we have:

  • "Hello" (where people do a quick Hello, I'm here type of post and some simple info about yourself.
  • Living With Arthritis
  • Eating Well
  • Surgery Before/After
  • Keeping Active
  • Work, Study and Finances
  • Coffee Lounge
  • Parents, Caregivers and Carers
  • Young People Life With Arthritis
  • Sports and Hobbies
  • Ask the Helpline

There may be more as we develop the new site, but we look forward to getting feedback.

    I think this is a good suggestion, maybe a medications section with the link at the top but where people can post their problems with their meds in the same group. Maybe also a link to the yellow card scheme so people can report serious problems straight away. I k ow a few people here have done this, including me and it was a hassle finding it.

    Other things I thought of, under the surgery section, maybe, subsection for hands hips knees feet and spine? That would make finding what you need to look at all in one place. Each one could maybe have the different recovery diaries?

    Just a thought on these, this place is brilliant anyway.

    In addition to medication/treatments, maybe something on therapies, including complementary therapies such as acupuncture, drawing on research studies?
