I have been getting constant tingling sensation in my lt arm, starting with my big thumb and then spreading gradually until it reaches the top of my arm. Sometimes I get it in my rt arm as well but not so so much. This morning, I was very worried, I noticed whilst in bed, the rt side of my head seems to be numb with sensation of pressure and tingle for a little while. I have had pressure on my head before as if blood is rushing to my head but nothing serious was found.
I wonder if this is all caused by osteoarthritis in the neck!! Anybody suffering with this condition and do you experience constant tingling sensation in your hands and arms? I have been referred to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Physio. Am on the waiting list with physio but have not heard anything from Ortho Surgeon? I have also got a constant ache on the inner side of my right elbow, it looks swollen. I am really worried about the constant creaking and crackling noise in my neck, same with the knees.
I try to keep positive by doing exercise every day. I try to alternate my exercise with pilates, yoga etc. It is difficult to be positive and cheerful when your whole body aches. I am trying to stay away from the painkillers except for the ibrufen gel and to be honest, I do not think it helps. I am exploring alternative supplements, I am taking Noni, a super juice, black berry juice and joint exlixir. My dr recommends glucosamine and the exlixir contains 1500 mgs of glucosamine and 1500 mgs choindritin (not sure about the spelling).
I feel such a whimp complaining. I just want to know whether all these are normail with osteo of the neck. Thanks
