What causes restricted mobility?

Hi

I'm due to have my right hip replaced end of May. I had the left replaced June 2006. I still find it difficult to bend to put on socks etc, but I'm not sure if its the replacement hip or the pain in the right hip restricting my mobility. Should I just wait for this second replacement and see how I go?

    I would have thought it's the unreplaced hip as it may be you are putting the weight on this side. Best to speak to your gP though and get appropriate medication to tide you over until your next OP. Additionally it may bump you up the queue. Good luck x
