I hope you are all ok today or to use a word still not under copywrite (but I know Vonski wont mind) wellish.

I saw my rumo, he is such a nice guy, and though he isn't totally sure what name to give it he has started me on the modifiers and well I m kinda hopeful things may get easier........ If nothing else they may stop the tiredness eh?

We talked about upping all my tablets and I think I will be doing so soon, in fact as of today they are going up so bare with me cus they can make me float a bit.......  :D

You all take care,
Cris x

    Hi Debs,

No I shan't' go far, I get support from all you good people! I just may not make sense till i adjust...... Last time I did the high dose i spent 4 days tripping.......

He is a very good doctor but more important he listens! I find usually they don't but his guy is incredibly good at hearing what you say! He sort of veering toward PA and he said there isn't a test for that....... The best thing with this guy is he knows how much my way of life means to me and he really does bend over backwards to keep me mobile. I can not face give up my sheep!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the new tablets work....... 6 to 8 weeks before I will know.

hows Snowy and have your jabs helped you a lot? x

hi cris, snowy is nearly back to his old self bless him,but his bum looks so horrid.its scabbed up nicely.im using germaline on it it has anaesthetic in it & helps to numb the pain.seems to be working.the anti inflam cream i was using he ripped his backend to pieces including his daggly bits. he's got another check up & his boosters on mon.
my jabs well,im still on my crutches the pains eased abit in my thumb & knee. but my knee feels like its gonna give way, feels strange as if theres some thing in there.dont know if its supposed to feel like that  but its still stiff so coming down the stairs is still a problem,im coming down on my bum still.im trying only to use the 1 crutch so i can still do stuff around the house.
the good side is im sleeping better, ive not got the pain that catches then the scream that goes with it,waking me up,so that at least must be agood sign.
as for the meds cris we'll still know its you if your away with the fairys or not  i spoke to a disability advicer yesterday so i know how you feel,it was so nice to talk to some1 that didnt treat me like a fraud & understood everything i told him, some 1 human for a change. luv debsx

Oh Debs it makes such a difference to seen and be treated as a human. So many just see you s a number or just a cog in the system. My Rumo is really good at seeing the person behind the symptoms! I know thats so lucky but treliske has an incredibly good rumo dept. I kinda upset at another type of arthritis cus the oa has done so much damage but Vonski and Toni said a while ago what ever it was I have coped with it for a long time and bless them I keep thinking that.

Poor Snowy, I really dread fly strike on the sheep........ its never happened but they do have a run in with the hair dresser every other month in their nether regions.

You can get some anti fly spray for the sheep and maybe it would work on a dog but I wonder if it would be best to just keep his 'trousers' short for the fly months? Bless him, I hope he will be all 'mended' soon.

hey you sorted out your hold yet? I will run the sheeps shears over him if it helps? Luv Cris x Oh and I found out you can only have 4 jabs a year....... hope they don't check their records!

    Hi Debs,

I don't know....... I have worked out i the last year I have had around 7 or maybe 8 joints injected........ If you count my back there was 3 or 4 in each at one time so I don't honestly know. I see the pain clinic next month I know she said she wouldn't re do my neck so soon but would do trigger points in it but I think I shall see about making it permanent now......... Well she & I will have a chat about it and see where we go....... Luv Cris x

Oh Newquay is only 13 or so miles from here and you would be better getting a set of dog clippers, human ones don't do my spaniel (she'd a springer) and Snowys hair is likely to be thicker. And yep I am feeling a bit fariy visit time! x

it'll take a while to get used to the new meds.i can see on those doses why your wanting to go walk about. take it steady.

    Hi Page,

Your right there, I have felt like death actually for quite a while now. Is a strange thing them sheep........ They are so important to me, its to do with the 2001 FMD thing!  He knows how important they are and bless him he also knows how emotional I get at the mention I should give them up........

I was reading up about the new drug on Trisha's post and Wonkey, bless her, did a post that really has given me hope!

Now Page I probably could do a humorous poem about arthritis...... Luv your pysie chasing aunt x :lol:

    Hi Debs,

We will have to meet up though eh? I do seem to have a low tolerance to them but you know they do work! I don't mind the nice trips....... the bad ones though are horrendous....... I took the high dose when I had my drip the time before last and spent 4 days tripping big time....... 3 were wonderful but one was awful, its made me a bit reluctant to take it but once you do your body gets used to it and its not so bad in its side effects. Mind the 600 will be 'interesting':lol::lol: x

are my ears burning tonight then?:lol:

I am wondering now what i can possibly have said! ...... are you sure it was me Cris? well thanks for the lovely comment.

As for the above posts ....... all this talk of sheep, shears and tripping and floating have brought a wonderful picture of what it must be like at Skezier Towers!

Just better make sure that slipper boy doesn't get anywhere near the clippers when you are 'tripping' and 'floating' ... otherwise he might look like the dog off the specs advert  :lol::lol:

I hope that you can get used to the upping of doses really soon. It is an awful thing all this drug changing - we try and take control but have to have a period of uncertaintly and not being in control ..... argh! ..... before we see if it works.

Personally I have decided that steroids must not agree with me. I am eating like a horse (and a shire horse at that!) today, have only had 4 1/2 hours sleep last night, am having a permanent hot flush, and feel crabby to say the least. But the face is looking and feeling better ...... a :D:D:D:D:D:D

    Hi Wonky,

It was def you and it gave me hope as I figured I was going to have more drugs and I have read so many posts on the sulfa thing and mtx, which he said he may add if these don't fully do the trick.

I don't know about you but the shock of yet more bone problems isn't anymore, partly because I knew for a while and my money has been on PA for some time.

I had a very bad reaction to preds......... 4months before they 'did' the job but they made all my muscles and bones hurt a lot so you go careful.

The posters on here and especially you, Vonski, Gill and poor Toni who gets swamped  have made the news so much easier to take, so I am kinda lucky eh? I really want to thank you all for giving me so much info that I knew what to expect.

Now I am off to do Page a humour poem or maybe fall asleep!:lol:

You lot are brilliant and thank you. xx

    Hi Joanne,

Its so good to,have such a nice and kind Rumo. x

    Hi Debs,

I got one of those and another who really does criticize my driving..... She sits in the passenger seat, 9well there isn't one exactly since slipper boy is happy to eat cars as well! ) All dignified and watches my gear changes with disgust if I crunch it.... She also likes to watch the cars we pass as we go by and I am sure if she could she'd wave! You probably will meet her since she usually comes with

We will sort something out eh? x

:lol::lol: not been there but know what you mean.
even with what im on the days i drift have a job to remember to turn tv over to watch, what is it thats on.then im sure im suppose to be somewhere.that kind of thing.what day is it.
but im sleeping better since the jabs.the pains not waking me so much, necks still a problem.but if i lay on my back i get comfy then my stomach starts roaring,as if its not been fed, trickling, rumbling.
cant win 1 way or another, ive never slept on my back in my life.now its the only way to get comfy.but my stomach is so loud.i blame IBS for that, something ive lived with all my life but it doesnt have to be so loud in bed or obvious when im on loo too long.  debs

    Hi Debs,

Do you remember the days when bed was a pleasure? Sleep was wonderful and we woke refreshed? I so wish they would get you sorted cus they could I am sure! Maybe the next lot of jabs will help? You said your having your neck done? I have to say that for me made so much difference. It didn't just do my neck it shut up the peripheral and radiating pain and I was amazed just how much 'disappeared'. I so hope you find the same.

I have come back down now, mostly, so I am off to get the cramps and the hip pain lying down seems to still bring. Take care and i hope you get a good night. x

    HI Cris,

hope you did get a decent bit of kip?

I am struggling to wind down at all tonight ... these steroids are making the mind and inner me whirr at lightening speed .... sadly the body doesn't want to even try to keep up! :x :x

Have just created a masterpiece on my side of the bed .... an array of different pillows from all parts of the house to prop hips, knees and feet up to find a comfy position.

Hubby joked that there wasn't any room for me in the bed any more - just pillows! The only trouble with this arrangement will be that If I sleep on my back as I will be doing, I often whack hubby in the face with my arms whilst I'm asleep. Not sure how he will explain away the black eyes at work!:lol::lol::lol:

    sleep well eveyone!
