    Hi Wonky,

I hope you got a reasonable night and you husband wasn't 'attacked' Preds now I think of it made me feel a bit hyped, mind at the time the crohn's was so active i was more whacked out so it was as well something was keeping me awake!

The 3 tablets in one hit do make me high and I woke up with a hangover so have gone back to 2 twice a day, I will actually take those (I am good at doing the morning ones, wary of the evening ones cus of the hallucinations) The sulfa things can't be taken with the omeprazole so I will have to force my self to remember them...... Like you said they do seem to produce a dry mouth but its a good excuse for tea! Impatiently I am waiting for them to work..........

Slipper boy does pillow duties, he keeps waking me to see if I love him....... I didn't at 3 o clock! He's been a bit insecure since i took in the new dog (who is a nightmare in him self!) but he sends his customary slurps and he asked how is his mate Little Legs?

I hope you really did get a good night. I miss those days so much!

    Hi Skezier

thanks for the note. Yes my toe is a lovely bright red/blue/anything colour and big.

Now, your Rheumy consultant, his name wouldn't be Suresh would it?

He is one of the nicest people you could ever meet and such a gentleman. As you read in my post, I saw him today and my medication has been altered similar to your own and I think I will be spending my hols floating. I was intending to paint but I may not be able to see the canvas.
Speak to you when I get back from hols.

I do 300 a day but there is no way I can go to 600 yet! I can't even do 425 and stay sane

You have a lovely holiday and I hope you both come back refreshed. Cris x

    HI Cris

just posted to you somewhere else on here .... not sue where now!!

I didn't have too bad a night eventually thanks, but todayhas been a shocker, but getting there.

Steroids wise I had only had depo-medrone injections before. Three months of those and my depression was much worse.
I had hoped that a short course (but it was 60mg/'day) of the pred would have been ok, but will have to aviod them in future I think.

Littlelegs has been a little angel today - she knows when I am sad - and she fully understands the need for dogs to be pillows - she has to be under the quilt and touching one of us, and then she can sleep happy that she will know when we need her. Mind you, she has got out of the 3am habit - I will ask her to have words with slipperboy about the need for humans to sleep for a long time undisturbed! She may get through to him!!

Oh Wonky, this has had me in floods of tears. You could have been describing Amber. It`s five months since she went to sleep, and I still miss her just as much as ever.......Ange.

    Hi Wonky,

I just answered you as well but will keep this one saner..........

I did wonder if the depo-medrone was as bad as preds cus he was thinking of giving me one. I lost loads of muscle and had painful bones on the preds and really wouldn't want to take them ever again but sometimes I guess you have to.......

Do you think she could try and teach him please? He really is being demanding and I know its all down to insecurity and he isn't too happy at the moment and wishes I had said no as well

I hope tomorrow will be better for you and with out the preds it may be or will be very soon.

    Hi Wonkey Chris and Ange
I just wrote a long post with a message to each of you, pressed the button and whosh it was gone. For the life of me I cant remember what garbage I wrote so I will just say Hi!!

I do remember Ange that I said after my first dog , Chloe was put to sleep, I couldnt ever imagine getting another dog again, but after 6 months, was desperate for some canine company and although nothing could ever replace her, you do form new relationships with completely different tail waggers. They are all so inividual it never feels like you are trying to replace any of them.
I havent been withought a doggy frien for 35 years!! Thats a lot of walks for my creaky bod but it keeps me active.

    Hi Toni,

Neither you nor anyone are wimps being up set over losing a friend and member of family. I'm with Gill I guess I have not been dogless for many years, or catless or even sheepless but I still miss individuals so much to this day.

A ((((( ))))) for you all and xx

    Hi Page,

I will do it, I did kinda do one a while ago called for this you'll pay but I will do another, probably high!

I hope the weather will be kind to you, its been a bit iffy since the start of this month but maybe next one it will be better and yes please let us know. Maybe it will be near and your little one can meet sheep? They love kids!

I have decided not to take more than 425 a day, I can't do that too well and 600 is just too high or I am!:lol: Cris x
