Hi Joanne,
Where did you see those? They sound brilliant..... To have a way to be warm, even outside! x0 -
In a keep able mag ive got. Ive only just purchased some cushions from it for a chair to help me back that was expensive and i saw those and i quite like to have some but wondered if anyone had tried before i buy.
These things are sooo expensive the things we need, so dont want to waste any money.
Are u ok today?
ive not really spent too much time on here as im to achy, i can tell autumn is here well weather is changed i can feel it and my energys drained and been more in pain.
hope u are wellish and keep on writing its good all the best joanneJoanne0 -
Hi Joanne,
Sorry you have been achy I hope it will settle down for you soon.
Hey I have the hand, feet and leg warmers and they work really well, if a bit localised. They are the little boxes you put a lighted bit of charcoal in. I love the sound of this if its something you put on and it them warms you? I spend half the winter with two hot water bottles tied to my front and back so maybe this is my answer?
Oh you know same as same really The pa isn't responding to the sulfa and my wrists and ankles are so painful and swollen but I have my drip soon and maybe a boost of circulation will help eh? x0 -

Hi Joanne,
Since the 26th july so whats that, not long enough Thing is its getting much worse but I see the Rumo again in October so maybe I'll get an add in?
Oh there's still some heat and strength in the sun, Autumn is at present in remission! For me it does make me feel better...... Just not enough x0 -
i have the heated gloves and waistcoat, my hubby bought them for me last christmas, how romantic since we've only been married 4 yrs!!
i would totally recommend the heated gloves and waistcoat, he got mine from 'maplin' so not sure how the price there compares to your magazine price? might be worth investigating though. the ones i have take batteries so i bought rechargable ones which saves me a fortune!!
i love mine, the gloves especially as my hands are badly affected by RA

Costco are selling a box of Hotties individual Hand warmers for about £12 for 40 pairs - they are disposable and last for around 6 hours. They are £30 for the same amount on Ebay. I have bought a box but luckily it has not been cold enough to use them yet!
You just put them in your glove or pocket.0 -
Hi Sue and Ifeelninety,
Thanks for the info...... I shall see if I can get one/some or all. Take care Cris0 -

I've just had a look at the maplin site and the gloves are £19.99, the gillet £34.99. There's also heated insoles (heaven!) which are £19.99.
There's also a heated hat at £19.99 but I'm a little concerned about that as it says:
"Heater placed between ears area"
as between my ears is my brain in my head!!! Would wearing it involve major surgery do you think :? !!0 -
Hi, I really sorry, but I can picture you in all your heated clothing, with wires trailing along the ground, as you walk, slowly down the road, glowing like that old advertisment for Porriage. Anyone remember the one with the 'central heating for kids' Ready Brek, I tbink it was.... But, having said that, I've got my heated cushion, thermal gloves, made of a sort of silver mesh stuff, I've got the socks too, but they are too scratch to wear :!: The things we do. Keep warm, love Sue0

Yep I'll be the one who's rushed to hospital in the middle of December with heatstroke!!

I've got some heated socks.
Sent to me by a pal in the US..
Cozy when out with dogs early in mornings.
I don't move quickly enough anymore to generate enough heat.

Hi Vonski,
Oh just for, say this week, lie to me I do love the sound of these things, even if I have to lug a car battery round with me xx0 -

Love Vonski x0 -
Hi everyone,
They're all on the maplins website. Hats, gloves, gillet and insoles. Not all are in stock at mo but I'm going to keep my eye on it and will post when back in stock.
Maybe we could do a bulk order and get a discount !!
Take care

Hi Joanne,
Hey as you know i got the drip this week and they specialise in circulation drips as well as rumo drips etc. My nurse told me today when I See the Rumo next month to ask to see the o/t for splints AND they do the gloves from there as well...... She thinks in my case I might be able to get the insoles too. I think your already seeing one but if not see if they can do the same up there. x
Hi Julie,
Shall I order the pantechnic? x0
