    Afternoon all

    Thanks Toni, for news of Cris. Hope all is going well for her after the bad day yesterday. Hope you are ok? Annie eats ALL the vol au wents I think Toni so we had better guard them.

    Just trying to keep up with everyone. Val glad all went well at the physio, it does seem to be helping do hope so.

    Joy you are supposed to be having an easy day NOT baking for the party. Slow down please, you make me dizzy! :roll:

    Del hope your day not too boring, it must be if you voluteered for the Norty Step earlier :?

    Jan glad the shopping done but hearing you say you don't fancy eating has me really worried!! Not like you love?

    Trish missing you so much. :cry: Do hope you can join us before not too long and that you have had chance to rest up and get some pain relief. We need you at that party love.

    HI Eve & welcome to the forum and the cafe!

    great thing about this cafe is it is always open, serves anything you desire in huge portions and is all calorie free :D:D:D:D:D

    oh, and you are welcome to loiter for as long as you like - not known anyone get thrown out for only having one coffee in this place :wink:

    Thanks wonkeylegs. If I can have anything I want then I will choose scone with fresh cream, large tea after my coffee please.

    Nice to see cheery people. Certainly lifting my spirits as they were quite down at the start of today. Great to know I can pop in at any time and hope I don't get chucked out as I might just get drunk on tea and coffee and need the toilet a lot as I will be water logged. Unsure if that is spelt correctly but my excuse it .... English is not my first language x

    How is Cris doing is she ok? I have been so worried about her, feel like I let her down. I told her I would be with her all the way. How are her eyes are they better?

    They kept me in. I had to have a large dose of steroids in there. They have sent me home on Prednisolone.

    I have been prodded poked here there and everywhere. I also had 2 bags of blood to top me up as they said. I thought if you needed blood you slept all the time and was sleepy, well that is not me is it? It took a while to get it as I have a funny blood type and they could not get exactly so it had to go in very slowly. I had to have my obs done every 15 minutes because of it.

    Got the cast off, now I have these little dinky grey casts on three fingers. They are not all together now, so I can slowly use my fingers. Had to have X Rays first. They let hubby and me look at the x rays saw the wire and the screws, very interesting though.

    I'm home now that is sooooo good.

    this cafe has all the facilities !!!!! just remember to put the light on!

    unlimited tea and coffee top-ups ..,..... help yourself :D

    spelling is always optional :wink: most of the time my fingers have their own ideas about what I am typing - no-one seems to mind so relax.

    another tea? scone? cake? chocolate?

    A big welcome Eve, hope you soon find your way around, people will help if they can or offer a hug if they can't. I am still 49 until March and. am hanging onto that thought :? I overdose on bacon butties in here but they are so non fattening. Do keep popping in.

    Trish glad the cast is off and the MOT done, not nice for you but we are so glad to see you again. Funny blood eh? Not green is it? :lol:

    Jan, Toni, Del hope you are all soon feeling better. Well done to Cris for being brave again and hope she is soon home.

    Just me usual brew at the moment please. I'm having a lovely lazy day ignoring the ironing and houswork without guilt. ( I've got me hydro in the morning Trish, going ok ta)
