Evening all - Chris, I think I am as confuddled as you are. I've been thinking it was Thursday all day, but since I've spent most of it asleep, it probably doesn't matter!
It's time for another builders before I start on the next round of meds and things.......going to put on the kettle now.
To go with it I'll pinch some of Trish's cherry pie - I'll leave the creme eggs for those in need, I've got some fudge fingers!

as soon as the car is sorted(it goes in the garage tomorrow) & the workmen have finished the repairs here, it will be no smoking again.

debs0 -
sorry folks. I've not kept up.
Yes would love a crusty cobs thank you. As you say, you don't put weight on in this cafe
OH is pleased Spurs won the league
I've just been sending a long email to step son in Canada. The horrible toe rag sent his father the most awful spiteful email and has disowned him as a dad because apparently to dear step son, he was the worst father any son could have.
This is because one father couldn't afford to bail him out of all his troubles any more.
We learn't today, from someone in our local Tesco's where step son use to work that we were going to be grandparents to twins.
We shall never know them, they will not know us. Step son has always been one who thinks he knows every business there is and can start at manager level. When he is a manager, he does not know how to treat people who work with him and is rude to them.
then he wonder why he is sacked all the time. It's everyone elses fault. get the picture. Sorry to go on but I am so mad.
Need some calming now please

Jan I wanna see the piccy of your hair do?
Trish yes please I'll pinch a baby cream egg ta
No work for me tomorrow, well no paid work. Must do a bit of housework and boring chores. Will get you and coffee, hope you get some rest later.
Annie tonight can you please wind the clock and put the cat out, instead of the other way round!
Chris
Sorry you all sneaking in again while I post. Joy Spurs won an FA cup match not the league lovey. My bit of Yorkshire is NOT happy0 -
Sorry all you Leeds fans. Can't believe though, that Kettering, a Conference side kept Leeds to a draw all thos weeks ago. It was only in spare time with a Goal keeper/manager who was nursing an injured back that we eventually lost to Leeds. The Leeds manager said that it was one of their toughest matches.
Say Trisher, any cream eggs left. Doesn't matter if they're all gone.
I'll bring some in tomorrow.
Nice cuppa now and then bed I am so tired tonight.
Wonder what tomorrow will bring.

Joy

Yes, one for me please, my perishing gadget has just started leaking all over me........will be back for the tea in a mo!
Annie0 -
Debs
Well that is still good just 4 a day. Once the stress has settled you may just give it up and not find it too hard.
Is it hard to give up though Debs?
Anyone seen Cris tonight, has she gone to do the calves and sheep or run the dogs around the fields??
Anyone know??0 -
Jan
I will have a coffee please, if you don't mind.
Annie
What gadget is leaking over you? What have you done
Chris
Did you like the egg?? No humbugs?0 -
Oh dear Annie hope you stopped the leak.
Tea here for Jan and anyone else needing one. Ta Jan the piccy is luverly, you far too young and trendy to be a granny.
Joy sorry the stepson giving you both grief, sounds a really hurtful thing to do.
Trish sorry nearly forgot, here are your humbugs. Been doing orders for Guernsey today and yes the pretty labels had cows on them amongst other things. Mind you they weren't purple thank goodness. The cream egg was yummy ta.
Chris0 -
Hi Trisher, cris is fighting with the calves & bales of hay/straw, she may pop back in later.
The cravings are the hardest part but i have tablets for that. Ive done it before for 4yrs & started again when me & husband split up.
I dont handle stress well,I suffer with anxiety & depression so it does make it hard giving up. I dont want antidepressants again so i dont mention it these days.
I will kick the habit when ive got this work done on the house & the car sorted. I worried they wont fix it as its 9yrs old & then ive got to try to find a mobility car.
The Astra weve got at the minute i cant get in & out of like i can our Renault.
