Evening All I hope you are all ok.
Wulf hope you have calmed down. Some people can be blooming nasty. Some do it because they find it funny.
Joy, do hope your bug has gone by now.
Can I have a large coffee and a sticky bun with a cherry on the top please.
I did have a bad night, so I came over to get an ovaltine, got the fright of my life. I was not expecting to meet a Yak in the night eating pancakes and sticky buns.
Plus it had done other things. Marrigold was laying in the shed asleep.0 -
Hi Trish, I'm back!
I think she's actually quite a nice yak.............she's got very sad eyes, perhaps she's a little homesick?
As long as we teach her manners, she will be company for Marigold.
I can sit down for five minutes now and have a builders......
Hi Valkyrie and welcome!
Marigold gives us the most beautiful milk.............so you should be OK here for your tea. Would you like anything else?
I've just had ham, eggs and chips for tea and tinned tomatoes......fast food! It was very tasty.........could eat it all over again.

Hi Valkyrie Welcome to the Forums.
Right, I will have a coffee and sit with Annie by the fire.
Annie, well we have the yak and Marrigold in the same shed, well is the yak a he or she only I wondered if they were in the shed all night. We might end up with the patter of tiny feet.
Wonder what we would call it? Yakcow???? Cowyak??? Marriyak?0 -
A miracle?
Annie0 -
I'm sure yakyak is another cow....if you see what I mean. I think they will get on very well with each other and Marigold will teach her to be a laid-back yak (hmmmmm).
Annie
PS is there any apple crumble left?0 -
Hey Trish it would be a kow or a Cak......... xx0
-
A Cakey???
Do we have a new person guys??

Shove over Trisher and let me join you
We had bad snow today and I charritably did the run over to stratford (3 hours round trip) as it was so bad.....didn't want hubby to do it after work...got back....and it was GONE!!! Where is it??? No snow???

Wulf
Sorry Wulf
I'm having a flare, did not think straight, I was thinking if they cosied up one night you know
We might or they might have a little un half and half hence yakcow or cowyak.
Forgot we are milking her. Well when we got Marrigold poor Val thought it was a him so she used to pump his tail and ended up with cow pats.
That is when I had the idea of Val putting her feet in them see if they help her pain they did.
You will hear about the medicnal lavender pats we got when Val pumps the tail.0 -

She was certainly not laid back in the night I had an accident with her in the dark.0 -
wulfstan wrote:Hi Trish, Ouch, I feel for you with that flare, hope it eases soon.
As for Yakyak and Marigold, we could always provide a boy cow and yak. Do we want calves of either beastie?
Wulf
Well I know who would that is Cris, and I think our other friend Chris would love it too.
Chris

Wulf i thought you were no more than 40
If she is on here then you must be older than that....

She is very welcome anyway
Does that mean she too has the dreaded arthur???
Toni x0 -
.......and I didn't think he was even 40! But I am notoriously bad at judging ages and don't even try now..........
Could I have a large builders and a sit-down by the fire for a while? Just need to sit and reflect for a minute, then I will bounce back again.
