Morning one and all, Elizabeth, Wonky, Chris, Trisha, Jan, if you're looking in, Val, Cris, Julie, and all that I have missed.

Just thought I would look in before I take myself off to my studio to try and get some work done. That's the problem when you get commissions, it seems like work, but it brings the pennies in. Although I have pictures in at least exhibitions at the moment, you are lucky if you sell any in this day and age. No one has got any money. I expect they will all go for raffle prizes next. People want them if you are giving them away.

Wonky, I agree about trying to get an afternoons rest in. All the world and his wife seem to want you then.

Jan. I'm hoping you are trying to chill out now that you are working again. Sounds like you are a bit stressed at the moment. Take care
I hope everone else is fine this lovely sunny spring morning.

    "if you are cold,
    tea will warm you.
    if you are too heated,
    it will cool you.
    if you are depressed,
    it will cheer you.
    if you are excited,
    it will calm you."

Oh Val it was funny they wanted to open one in sheffield town center but there was women protesting where they wanted to put it. I saw them in town with there placards just a few flat chested women saying it was demeaning to women, they have obviously never been in one. A friend of mine went to America for her honeymoon and went in one with her husband and she said she really enjoyed it, they just wear tight t-shirts and have big b  obs , my sons hope they open one but when i asked them if they would mind if i worked there lets just say there faces said it all

well i think it the men exploited .you see more if you walk down the city center in winter lol. so if they want to pay the young ladies well to serve why should they turn it down better than stacking shelves for min wage. mind you i hope they can find the right shapes as have seen loads of larger females there make me feel quite slim
    got to run ttfn

Evening to all! Trish, Val, Julie.......and anyone else who's crept in while I wasn't looking....

Val - at least your day off has come at the right time of the year! You'll be able to enjoy the garden more.

Trish - today was lovely......I walked home from work through the park and some of the daffs were nearly out. Another nice day tomorrow and they will look lovely. It's the first time I've been able to walk home from work for months and I did enjoy it so much.

I've had a much better day - and night - than I expected or deserved after yesterday. Hope I don't get pay-back tomorrow instead of today.

I'm ready for a l a r g e tea..........bring on the home made scones and bread with real butter and strawberry jam....mmmmmmm.
