Hi there Bubbles.
I was up your way last weekend. We came to Morecambe and I always look out over Pendle Hill when I come by. I visited an artist near to where you live who paints alot of landscapes and for many years I had one of his pictures of Pendle Hill over my mantlepiece. Now that I paint myself, my living room is full of my own.
Have a love easter and do hope the weather improves up there. Can be very bleak and it looks like Spring is going to be a bit later for you

Long time since I went to Morecambe. Pendle is a very moody hill, it does not hide its feelings and it can look quite forboding. Good that you have a picture of it

We do have a lot of weather, despite what the forecasters say, we get what we get, lots of rain. Snow has not long gone off the top of the hill.

Hi to everyone/anyone around!

Ready for an after-lunch builders.......then off for a snooze. Had a good day so far in spite of the weather..............a spiteful wind and it's raining like hell!

Would have liked to have done more outside, but not in this weather!

Will bring in some hot cross buns later and some fruit buns without the spice!

Still waiting for the rain here, black as soot and chilly too. Will go for the buns without the spice, most considerate

Snoozing seems a good idea, might have an early nap today.......Have to juggle naps round pill times :roll:

Val congratulations for reaching 10,000 post in the cafe...what would we do without it
Trish I hope you are feeling better after yesterday, and that you have a good easter with your family.
Joy you poor thing, like they say it never rains but it pours, I do hope your son-in-law gets his laptop back.
Jan I hope your pain is under control, and you gat some sleep.
Annie..wait till its warmer before you potter any more..it wont be long now.

Hi Barbara, thank you, we are very lucky to look out over Pendle, a bit mean and moody looking today. I think it's cold too, cranked the heating up, bu**** the bill, I cannot bear to be cold, I just seize up. Big cup of T, pills taken, biscuits, then nap 8)

Ive got my youngest daughter & her friend here at the minute so im a bit busy but willl try to pop in if i get the chance.
There expensive these kids :shock: Ive had to go shopping again today & only went on wednesday :roll:

Right now for my news, my eldest has a girlfriend and he has just phoned me to say her daughter(didn't know she had a child) has been rushed to hopital because she is fitting, hope she is okay shes only 2.

went to pub in town for carvery was very nice when eventually got it waited 35min till our turn to go get it lol not going there again think the mash was instant or had pepper in not good lol

It is like a Spring day here sunny blue sky fuffly white clouds, but it is so cold.

We had bought our grandson a scooter for Easter and a small egg. Dil has a large family so he will get a lot and cannot take them back with him.

We thought we would do that because he is spending most of the summer over here, hopefully we can take him to the park.

You could have made the mash quicker at home. Is't it disappointing when you wait all that time and then it is not nice. Was the rest of it nice???

roast pork/beef had both as could not decide cabbage, cauliflower,carrots,peas roast spuds yorkshire pudding rest was lovely but i do like mash and that was not mash lol

right have hidden mini cream eggs around the cafe not at floor level as we can not get down that far very easy lol. at least three each so good luck finding them
