    Yes my hands fingers and wrists swell right up. My finger look like sausages at times they are so painful though.

    My hands swell from wrist down when it happens to both at same time I'm buggered can't do anything, luckly it doesn't happen often togehter.
    They think I might be starting with oa as well.

    A couple of days ago my tendons ruptured in two fingers now they have the droop.

    Hubby got some lolly sticks and splinted them that was uncomfortable. I see them in the week.

    Jan a work friend of mine is going through a similar thing as you, shes in a lot of pain thought she might have fibro something can't remember its full name anyway her doc now saying its in her head. Been trying to get her to see another doc, she's very down now, just think some docs are lazy.

    My rheumy said something to me about that is it because of r/a or o/a or is it both :?: is it very painful when they go :?:

    I have ra/oa/psa I think the hand surgeon said that it is oa in the fingers as the joints are small. So my knucles are ra so are my wrists, hip and lower spine is ra but they say I have this psa and they keep looking at my fingers.

    Well the time I went couple of weeks ago they say I have Rheumatoid Vasculitis I went the following week and they said I also had Raynauds.

    I got raynauds too bloody horrible and they think i have sjogren's syndrome as well :roll:

    I have suffered from really bad depression, so she is not alone. You know what we are all like, tell her to try it.

    I should imagine it would do her good once she gets to know us.

    Try and tell her she will be ok with us.

    I will Trish she has to be careful what she eats as well (gluten free I think) Might be meeting her for a coffee next week so i will ask her then. Did see her when I got my topper but our manager hovering :roll:
