Got to get some fences rebuilt but decided to get a builders and a bucket of energy before I go try.... put some wire over the hole at gone midnight cus I forgot it was a hole and the lodgers came back in a hurry..... Anyone got the strength and energy to wield the pounder please?!

Er, excuse me, what did I do to get left out? Just kidding, not been about much. However.....I have completely cleared my diary, and am taking the summer off. Got some jobs in the house that have to be done, although I HATE having workmen around. Anyway, just feel the need of some of my "soft" time. I think I`ve earned it.

Now I am going to have egg and chips, and a builders in a pint mug.

well done ANge , that sounds like a great idea. I hope it gives you time to get the jobs done and also time to rest and recuperate and knock your knee into shape

If you run out of jobs I am sure CHomsky will keep you busy too!!

I bet I have missed someone, haven't been in for nearly 3 days now.
I'll not bore everyone with my probs though. I just feel so sorry for you Jan, with this job thing. It takes so much effort energy to do what you are doing. I'm very proud of what you are trying to do.
Skez, any more births, or is it just the horse now. A little foal due, georgous. You must be exhausted though and quite an expensive time.
Do you know I have hardly done a thing this weekend. Yesterday, went over to middle grandson who has a 6th birthday on the 14th, youngest one went into one of his loudest temper modes ever. He is going through some behaviour problems, so they may have to bring in the 'suppa nanny's' again.

I shall just finish this cuppa then must press on and get some things done.

She isn't my mare and he doesn't spend money on them at all..... she has come back looking so rough and weak that hopefully the foal will wait a bit. Its turned though and she is 3/4 bagged so I don't think it will be too long. I will keep a quiet eye on her and fingers crossed her recent 'problems' haven't effected it too much....

Jan listened to the music and fell asleep. Very Nice.

Had grandson today while mum and dad went out shopping. ah it was lovely. he played a game with me and it was just the two of us.

He said he was going to miss me when he went back home, ( made me cry) Will only see him for a while on Wednesday then he will be gone.

I know I'm going to be upset.

I do hope they come back soon for good. His other nan has 6 grandchildren so it is not so bad for her.

Can I have a coffee please and a tissue.

Sorry I left I was looking at something, the time I figured it out I thought you had gone Sorry Jan.

I was in pain Jan that is why I woke up. That earache that goes to my jaw was almost enough to make you cry, my fingers were on fire as well. my left hand is so swollen, I'm dreading going to see the hand doctor.

I just hope that Rheummy will up the dosage of my meds tomorrow.

I'm definitely mending somewhat........thanks be! Just wish that warmer weather had lasted a bit longer.........the wind here is so cold and it does me no favours at all.

Thanks to you all for your good wishes; I hope to be around a bit more, but with the house move pending will probably find I am popping in and out some days. I'm now rather behind on 'my' jobs and need to pace myself.......what better way than coming on here for half an hour or so?

I will have another builders and then I will go and put my knees in a hot bath, they can hardly wait!
