HI Barbara, cris, trisher, brenda, bubbles, debs, Julie & anyone else who has popped in whilst I wasn't looking

have brought in some cakes as a treat ..... vanilla, chocolate, orange & walnut ...... take your pick!

huge cup of coffee for me please ... was up early walking littlelegs before it got too hot , parcel has been delivered , several loads of washing are out drying, planted the plug plants that arrived this morning and now I am flagging :roll: :roll: :roll:

so I'll just curl up on the sofa with my coffee and cake and see you all in a bit ...... just throw a cushion at me if I begin to snore please :oops:

I`m here Buggerlugs!!! I think she`s gone to work now. Don`t overdo it Jan, and we`ll talk tomorrow.

How ya doing Jules? I`m back with you - well I was last Thursday - in the BP Club. She didn`t seem bothered though, just told me to see the practice nurse in a month. Left the meds as they were.

I wonder if there is any pineapple in the fridge. I just fancy sliced pineapple and Cornish ice cream. When I buy pineapples or melons for myself, I end up throwing half away. Either that, or eating em all, and making meself sick!!

I am fading rapidly - I think it's the heat, but I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Hi Julie, Ange, Cris, Val, Trish, Wonky Barbara Debs and all who are about, have been about or will be about. That covers just about everyone Hugs to everyone too. Hope arthur is not being too rotten and that the sunny day has been enjoyed wherever possible. It was blinkin hot at the hospital.

A tad jaded, but happy that Dad has been seen by my own cardiologist. Had to pull some strings, but it worked. Rank hath privelage, even though I am retired. 8)

He was pottering about today and off the monitors, changing all his medications and starting on warfarin, hopefully home later this week.

Have only just finished supper. Collapsed into bed when we got in from visiting, was barely able to walk.

Will be running on auto pilot for the rest of the week I think. I thought it was Saturday and OH thought it was Friday, oh dear. :roll: :shock:

Nah, still got bathroom to do in about two weeks time. Got everywhere else pretty straight though now. Just said to my eldest that I`m still upside down, but in a very organised way, if that makes any sense. Hows our little Izzy? Does the heat get her down?

Trish, sorry you had a bad night again.Have you tried this(my gp said) Take Amptripyline at about 8pm gives them a longer chance to make you tried. (she says having forgotten to take mine yet :shock: :roll: )

I am and no, we cannot. Mother decided, that seeing as I am at the Drs in the afternoon tomorrow, that she would get the bus "Where from Mother,"? Oh, in town, how do you get there? I will walk - not on your nelly will you walk over a mile, when you are just recovered from a bad fall and fractures. So, we will take her to the hospital, stay a few minutes, then come back so that I can get to the Drs (who I will probably need at that point), lol and Mother will get a taxi home.................phew.
I am just about done in, on auto pilot. But Dad is doing fair, slowly improving.

Oh Bubbles, just be careful & try to rest. your truely knackered, watch that auto pilot doesnt go into over drive & take you off your feet.

I will do, or will try. Rang Auntie and Uncle tonight and they said they will give us a day off later this week. Need to potter at home, need to do washing and stuff, groceries too.........it will sort, I must not get in a state. Will chat to my GP tomorrow, lots of medication to increase and add too...........I will be on another planet, :roll:

Bubbles, I know that feeling well. when i increased me Pregabalins to 300mg with the Tramadols my OH wouldnt take his eyes off me or leave me on me own. Anyone would have thought i was drunk, i was all over the place & had a few nasty falls, covered in bruises. Ive had to come right down to 150mg & now increasing by 50mg at a time.

Jan, Yep its a long trip. we stop a few times for calls of nature & something to eat (making sarnies on the bonnet of car one year (were in a rush to leave :roll: ) we make up flasks too.
I take me pillow to put behind me neck & have painkillers & bottle of water in the front with me.
OH says i might have to drive some of the way this year :shock: Might be ok as long as i dont have to keep using 2nd gear,kills my arm & shoulder.
Cris said to stop off for a look at the monestry last yr & we turned down a lane by mistake & ended up in the middle of nowhere(bodmin moors i think) it got wee'd on :shock: cause i was desperate & got moo'd at..was mooning at a cow :shock: could have been worse

Debs, I am due to start pregablin as from tomorrow, as well as whack up the dose of amitryptiline, the rheummy said 40mg was wayyyyyyyyy too low for my neuropathy, so, as from tomorrow night I will be known as babbles, not bubbles. :shock:

I hope to sleep well tonight Julie, need as much rest as I can get at the moment, feel like one of those duracel bunnies, with the wrong batteries in.
