Oh I did my fair share of that, even when I was looking after 8 wards, I would still roll up my sleeves and help out, have a laugh with the staff, until the bleep went and some Junior Dr would be ringing, as they had no idea which end was up on a patient. :roll:

Oh i can still remember the bleeper going & someone shouting ''Nurrrsssseee i need a bowl'' Then we got there & it was too late :shock: :roll: :roll: we had an old guy in, had a hip done at 101yrs & the nursing home used to bring in his half bottle of whiskey, well no need to tell you want we had to deal with after he'd had that in his tea :roll:

I'll just have the hot lemon & paracetomols off the trolley as i cant take anything else with all my meds :roll:

Trish its just been one of those days, my nephew has posted on FB that he is now engaged :roll: Its upset my mum my sister in law is devastated what a way to find out :x

Oh he is a silly boy. He is too young to be engaged and resposible. He needs to see the world do things before he settles down.

I always told my boys not to settle down too early in life. You get itchy feet and wonder what about life. They did take notice.

First time I had the bleep and it went off, I nearly wet myself, but, you got used to it, eventually. I can imagine, honestly. We used to have milk stout on the night trolley, as a tonic, now, that's going back a bit.

here is the trolley, brought out the bigger one tonight, think we might need it.
My crayons have gone all to pot, never mind, cannot open the site properly.

I will have to bid you all n night, back is screeching at me and I too, need to raid the trolley, sort the cats supper, put the kettle on, potter, eat maltesers and biscuits (what a piggy). Then I will be ready for bed.

Trish my dad is mad with him because my mum is upset, my mum is upset because SIL is upset and my brother is mad because they are upset, :shock: that just sounds funny.
