Hi, Joan - sorry to hear about your BIL. My prayers are with you and your family.
Kate, what can I say? Just that the hole in your life does gradually ease, and she will have know you love her, even if it doesn't get said. My last memory of my Mum is of her crying because I had to go home to my family after dropping off the Christmas pressies on Christmas Eve. She passed away in the early hours of Boxing Day. It is 14 years ago this Christmas, and I still miss her every day.

Sorry Joan to have only just caught up with your post about you brother-in-law. I wish him a speedy recovery and best wishes to you and all your family during this worrying time.
It seems this has brought alot of sad memories to the forefront
