    Hi Trish,

I know its a nuisance but isn't it beautiful out? Its on the hedges not clobbered by the winds and banked up under then a bit with an incredible sky! Times like this I wish I could paint....... Joy, Joseph or Legs please come do a landscape of the back of here..... :D:D:D

I think there must be 5-6" cus the long grass is almost covered. Slipper boy is over the moon cus he loves it and even Hop's was out playing earlier.... she is getting old and not known for here playing ability

Right you all stay warm, I am off to do the sheep and then play for as long as my useless circulation will let me :lol::lol: x

I would love to. If I camp in the summer, can you arrange electric hook up  . I saw your video and might manage something from that :?:

    Hi Joy,

Oh I'm sure we could come up with something re electric. You can see what I mean through can't you? There is far too much atmosphere there for a camera to get even if it is a decent one  Sty warm Cris x

You can all br relieved my brother managed to get a call through, he has 7ft of snow. Their neighbour had to come and dig them out.

Now they have to get the snow off their roof.

    He lives in America though.

This snow and ice is getting really boring now, it was nice at first, all very christmassy but I am fed up with it now.. Everytme I go out to use the lavvy I have to dress like Nanook of the bloody North. The shock to my systems as my toasty warm bum hits that plastic lav seat is not funny....

Just be glad it's not over the road - the house that hubby lived in as a child quite literally had their lavvy across the bl**dy road!

I agree with you. I'm staying with my parents at the mo and they live on top of a mountain (S. Wales) in a very exposed area. There's no heating in the toilet and I have to be as quick as I can. My daughter has put her potty next to the radiator!! The snow drifts are very pretty but I'm getting fed up now. Just managed to get to my place and it's just as bad down in the valley which is unusual. I think we'll be staying another night or two yet.

Well, I`m doing as I`m told, and staying indoors so I don`t hurt myself. So, what do I do? Hoovering round in me new fluffy slippers, - big footballs - I trip over the bl**dy lead, and bang me head on the door. I know what people mean now when they talk about seeing stars. I`d probably have been safer going out!.....Ange.

I'm going to hide, now, enough is enough...............I don't go out for 48 hours (following instructions) and what happens..............the worst cold since they invented 'em! I won't be going out for another 48 by the looks of it and by that time I'll be crawling up the walls. All I want is some fresh air!

one has to ask is it really worth the effort :(

Are you feeling OK, Nanna Jan? You don't seem quite yourself?

...........and don't you go overdoing it, either, Jan. You've had a tense and worrying couple of days and you know us fragile types are easily upset!

I won't do anything daft, mainly 'cos I'm a bit wary - I was so bad yesterday, sneezing and running and dripping and I can't believe it's so much better in 24 hours..........there has to be a catch to it!

Up here in the north, Glasgow we have had snow, freexing fog and sub zero temps for nearly a month now. The Clyde has frozen, first time in years. My OH went out today to pick up my meds and took a camera. I will get him to do the techie bit and link some photos if you are interested?

Lovely pics, but, do you know what, I`ve so had enough now.

It`s like a Christmas card when I look out of my window. I am very warm in my home, and have plenty of everything in. I know how lucky I am. BUT, being on my own, I daren`t risk going out, so am starting to feel very alone. Not nice, and not like me at all. Please, rain soon!!

Ange, you're not the only one! I'd had enough by Christmas.....don't like snow at the best of times. Afraid to go out, with spinal osteoporosis, it would be silly to risk a fall, but I do get stir crazy very quickly.

Glad I`m not the only one Annie. I feel so guilty when I think of others much worse off than me. Soon be Spring!
