I would wrap up well and go for a long, long walk in the lovely snow before it thaws. I would take a hot flask of coffee with me and a sandwich and have a winter picnic on a bench overlooking the local park.

Would you like to do if you weren't plagued by arthur?

Luv Legs who's been housebound in this weather which makes me sad :(

i to would love to be out enjoying the snow a bit.
i'm on day 6 of being stuck indoors and it's driving me crazy, i'm miserable and moody. i keep snapping at my husband, he gets fed up if stuck in for more than a day, but he's been lucky enough to get out every day!
i'd make a snowman, throw snowballs, i'd just play!!
then i'd walk to the shops to get food! we are running really low and our online grocery shopping was cancelled due to the weather. then i'd pick ellie up and me her and sarah would play in the snow some more!!

I'd start going to my club again for my weekend pints which
I miss very much, but methotrexate means you have to avoid
alcohol, although you can negotiate a little.

I would drive up the beautiful Northumberland coast to Lindisfarne - Holy Island. For me, this is one of the most peaceful, and spiritual places I`ve ever visited.

I would walk along the beach, picking up beautiful shells along the way, to the magnificent, centuries old Castle.

Then over to the Priory, to stroll through the cloisters, and then sit quietly in the church, and reflect. At this point, I always feel a real connection to the past, Holy Island being the birthplace of Christianity.

Next, over to the Lindisfarne Hotel for a huge afternoon tea, and perhaps book a room and stay the night, because I`ve probably missed the tide, and can`t get back to the mainland. Well, that`s always been my excuse in the past!......Ange.

Talking of snowmen - what about the one someone built near you of his hand stuck out at the bus stop, I've shared that with lots of people :lol:

I have never sledged in my life - bet it's wonderful :D

    Hi Legs

Sorry to hear you're not able to get out and about just now. Not long now until Spring

I consider myself very lucky at the moment - my ice grippers are brilliant, so I'm still able to enjoy walking my dogs.

The one thing I would love to be able to do again is to start my little ironing business I had before arthur (yes, I know that's really sad, but I love ironing) I didn't earn a fortune, but it helped keep my car on the road, and my customers weren't just lazy and hated ironing - some of them were ill themselves, and couldn't manage it - a bit ironic, don't you think :? :?

Love from Lynn (neatly folding her laundry!!!!)

Just sending you my cyber ironong Lynn only to keep you happy

I would've learnt to drive if I hadn't got arthur

Hi all, mine is very simple, I would like to go to the memorial garden to visit Jordan, but its too icy to walk on, even his parents have problems at the moment, and they cant get Jasmines wheelchair in there at all.
I would also love to play properly with the 2 little ones I look after, i.e. get on the floor, do more walking in the park, playing chasing games etc. (well I can dream!!)
