Work full-time again and dance. Would also like to be able to enjoy the snow rather than fearing it!

    Hello Linda with the legs,

I'll have to put the club and the booze on hold for a little while. I'd like to spend the next two weeks in South Africa. It's a lot warmer there at the moment and there's a cricket match starting on Thursday'

Well if I did not have Arhur, it would not make much diffrence to me. My life would still be a tough life.

I was virtually housebound long before he came along, as some of you know, I would still be in a wheelchair, plus a lot of other complaints that make me illand in pain.

So can I cheat for a bit, is that ok???

I would run along a sandy beach with my little grandson. To have pushed him in his pram, I have never been able to do that.

I would have gone outside in the snow and joined in with my family and grandson in a snowball fight, made a snowman then come in for hot chocolate and mince pies. Instead of just watching from inside, wishing so much, that I could have been out there with them.

I love dancing of any kind, but don't get many opportunities. I miss it.

When I saw a young woman jogging, I thought 'I wish I could do that' :(

Then a reality check hit me. Because, pre-Arther, I wouldn't have wanted to go jogging/bungee jumping/para-gliding/rambling etc etc

For me, I wish I could do the house-work like I used to e015.gif

What really frustrates me is that no way can I now get down on my hands and knees to clean properly in little nooks and crannies, and I don't have the same elbow-grease when mopping the kitchen floor!

Actually, I'm thinking of getting a cleaning lady for a few hours a month...... does that make me sound snobby????!!! Honest, I'm not!

i'd love yo be able to get a cleaning lady or person lol!
i find it so frustrating that tidying one room makes me tired and achy, especially with a messy husband and messy children!

Mell - bring on the summer!!!!!!!

    Luv, Lynn xxxxxxx

I can't wait once this snow goes it's comin, soon see we will all see the swallows back from Africa, once I see a swallow house martins skimming over our village and hear the shrill of swifts feeding up high on the wing, then I will trully know that the summer has come around again, and when they slowly and silently disappear off to sunnier lands in late september I will miss them so deeply it makes me stop and think of them and I hope and pray that I'm still here in the spring to see them come back and the cylce of life repeat once more.

    Hi Jackie

I had a cleaner for 2 hours a week when I worked full time and when I was coping with 'arthur' and it was sheer bliss!!! my house has 2 grown men, 2 idiotic dogs, a busy nurse who does her bit but still wants to live and me - who has not been able to do a spring clean it at least 3 years!!!!  So i would recomend a cleaner if you can get one!!!!

If 'arthur' was not here, I would be working full time - I would be able to help my hubby with building our new home - I would be able to walk my dogs for longer - I would be able to look after my grand daughter and my children would not make me feel like an invalid sometimes!!!!

    not much then!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looked out of bedroom window............Local farmers are having a shoot........they were walking the fields at back of house....

    Should I...........what the heck

    Put on thermals...........lined/waterproof trousers.........wool shirt........

    Not even brushed my teeth........

Wellys on....................grab Dill and we off...........

Well, I got home a 5.15.......................managed all day.....

Marvelous beef and lamb joints for lunch.........at Farm House

Home make cakes at end of day.....

Dil did 6 retrieves......................2 of which were very special.......Throught 2 hedges and over a river.........with a Pheasant (no...not peasant) in her mouth....

It was great to be back on the real world......well my real world anyway....

    Me.....everything aches......but well worth it....

ANd Daisy Too the 7 week old puppy...............well she sulking bigtime.....being left alone all day....

Now she's running around the house like a demon.........biting everything that moves.......actually and things that don't move.......

Shall I brush my teeth now and have a shower...............or just sit here contented.......and hummmmm....
