Hi Cris,
Hope you're feeling better now and managing to get some rest!
Good luck with the eye appointment - it's scary what we can catch from our animals. My aunt caught something nasty whilst lambing!

Hi Joan, Maria, Legs, Chris, Iris, Dolittle, Val, Kath and Lois,
Thanks you all I feel a lot better after 24 hrs without the sulfa and not feeling so sick so that’s a big help! I almost went into the eye dept today but will go Monday I promise as it just wasn't possible to fit it in today...... They only ever monitor it so its not like they do anything though there must come a point when they might eh?
Hey Legs I feel like I have walked 70 miles today Did a certain sheep hooves..... xx
Hi Kath,
Hows it going? You and your hip getting on ok I hope? xx
Hi Joan what you like at digging out sheep sheds Its almost spring eh? Though..... tis some cold by night. Hope you an Sue are ok? xx
Hi Iris you know what’s odd? The walk ins don't have access to your notes...... I was surprised but it might just be down this way or maybe cus they re not too established yet. He also said he couldn't do referrals but would write to the useless ones and suggest a referral to the gastos again but I still think I might be able to find some other doctor with the 5 mile radius. Do you have the same problem up there cus it even more rural. He sending a ton of slurps back to you xx
Hi Chris oh flower to not spend 4hrs every tie i take though tablets feeling sick is so nice.... I been a bit busy today so will try and catch up with you in a min for a builders xx

Hi
Sorry to hear aboutall your problems. It must be awful to have problems with your eyes as welll as all the other stuff.
I hope you see someone soon. I find when I'm desperate I write a letter directly to my GP explaining why I need to see her. This always works and its amazing how quickly I get seen!
I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get some help and relief soon
Sharmaineskezier wrote:Hi All,
Got useless doctors, too many patients not enough of them so for the last 18 months or so I have never got an appointment only phone call from the duty doctor and a phone diagnosis and tablets put up. Ok sometimes that works ..... but..... sometimes it doesn't.
I really feel lousy. I am so tired, not sleeping though, and pain everywhere. Even my friends the diclo's and Preagablins are not working too good but they in fairness keeping the back fairly quiet
I went to a walk in today (its 38 miles from here but well worth going!) Saw a nice doctor who was friendly  I was thinking they might be a myth
He said I was very run down ( I kinda knew that) and also having an endless flare of pa and raging optic neuritis in the eye ....... yet again, it started last night!
This walk in is a short term fix but he told me I have to make an emergency appointment with the rumo tomorrow and go to eye casualty asap...... I won't be able to til Monday cus I have to o some work tomorrow and sales both Saturday and sunday.
I was talking to a friend while doing the sheep and WE think I got cat bite fever....... I will have to remember to ask the rumo and the eye people about that one and well its treatable It can't undo the damage in my eyes and the right one really has got some.
Anyway as poor Maria said ( a (((( )))) for you Maria) I also could do with one
Sorry this is so long and it hasn't ended where I had planed it to VUT any one with useless doctors near a walk in go there cus they actually help!
You all take care, Cris who knows she got very bad eyes and may have used the wrong words here and there  xx0 -
Hi Sharon,
A shed load (and one I got to put up as well ) of Bubbles back to you s well Hey since I stopped taking the sulfa I feel a lot better and the throat and 'cold' are easing as well Te wrists, well swathed in double tubi-grip and some napa what sit gloves are really going for the special balloon effect sadly you know as well....... I will hear from my Rumo tomorrow as to if I see him early..... Due to in May, oddly enough while on the drip and on my birthday..... :? Still......
Hey when they first said I had M/S I thought Lymes...... they tested me..... but though negative then ....... Shaz anything that explains they eyes I cling to as if drowning  My scans only ever show one lession and the optic nerve damage so after 7 years they say its not M/S but the eyes just wont stop....... The cat thing is about all I got left to cling too.... Besides this lot and many for runners have over the years ripped me to shreds...... Strange 'hobby' rescuing feral cats and are they grateful...... I loves them for what they are so well....... It is curable and would explain why I am always much better on the Augmenting after a bite
Will go to the eye place tomorrow and ask them..... I think its all I have left t hope on where my eyes are concerned but well..... the damage done will stay for ever..... But after 2-3 feet I can see round the blur really well so it could be worse eh? How are your eyes now?
More bubbles and ((((( ))))) and Hi to all of you as well xxxxx
Hi Sharmanie,
If I can't change (and under NHS Choices its meant to be 5 miles....) I will write to the practice manager and try and get this useless lot to actually treat me as a human being..... well its an idea eh?
Hope the knee is doing ok and you are getting a bit of sun cus I recons it always helps to have that weird orb in the sky Cris x0 -

Hi Joan,
You a treasure and well.... it could b worse..... they been deep littered for 3 months
Hope you and Sue are ok and a ((( ))) and luv Cris and... xx0 -
Hi Skezier
You can but try!!! Let us know how you get on.
The knee gets better with each passing day. OH and I went out for a wee walk by the seaside today, sat in the sun and had an ice cream. I have to use my crutches and I'm enjoying walking properly again. OH wanted to take the wheelchair but I said I wanted to walk on my own - even though I'm slow. It was lovely. Considering I only had my surgery 3 weeks ago I feel pretty good. I may even try doing a few household chores tomorrow.
I agree the sun makes us all feel so much better.

Hi again Cris,
My doc is 34mls away and the rheumy is 22mls.......so I know something of your experience of trailing to and fro.
I moved home last year to look after my dad when he was terminally ill....and could have registered with a nearer doc then and since....but have found the thought of changing doctor & rheumy too much to consider .(ridiculous I know   )
I was also worried I'd end up with the uselessones too, as the local docs looking after my dad were numpties.
anyhow! now you have started on the right track I really hope you do find nearer, better docs.
good luck with the eyes tomorrow. sending you more good luck happy hugs (((( ))))
Sharmaine! great to hear you've been out and about...soo soon
well done you. :!: :!: Irisx0 -
