I am on a permanent quest for the perfect handbag - one that isn't too large so I put too much stuff in it, one that isn't too small to carry everything I need, or too heavy or pulling too much on my shoulder, or right for casual, or smart, or beach or holiday, or too dark for my outfit or too light, or no good in the rain (fabric ones).I've got quite a collection and none of them are right.

Ditto shoes, I've got big feet and a high instep and need shoes for gardening, painting, walking, to wear with skirts or skinny or boot cut jeans, ones to wear with different length trousers, ones that don't hurt, waterproof ones, ones with a good grip for snow and ice, smart, casual, for party frocks or for trekking (not that I do much of the latter these days) and so on.....

It's not that I'm obsessed with them, it's just that good ones are so hard to find.

    Hi Sally

You've just explained what most men just never seem to understand - the need to have something for EVERY possible occasion - it's called being prepared, isn't it???:wink:

    Lynn xxx

Hi Lynn, you are so right! Nothing worse than having the wrong bag! Ruins your day :)

Julie, kipling bags are lovely - thanks for the tip x

I think Julie might have started something - looking at lots of lovely bags! Need a nice spring one but will have one of those that spits out money too :)

Worn out from virtual shopping, going to bed. Night!
