    If you die at 30, 29 was old.

    That's very true. I know someone who has been depressed on every birthday since he was 30. We seem to live in an age-obsessed society.

    From reading all your replies, it seems the favourites to staying young are to have sex lots and to laugh a lot. I knew I had joined like-minded people on this forum.

    I also think you should learn to laugh at yourself and not take yourself too seriously. We are all only human and have both good and bad in us. It's experiencing the bad that in turn helps us be good-er... (knew I should have thought this through before starting to type).

    I also think having an 11 year old daughter who was born middle aged and is constantly telling me off helps to keep me young :-) Joan knows what I'm talking about!
