Hi been told i have inflammatory arthritis am on methotextrate iam rf positive, is inflammatory arthritis a term to cover a range of arthritis

Inflammatory arthritis is an umbrella term to cover a range of arthritis types. For example rheumatoid arthritis is known as an inflammatory type of arthritis. However generally most are treated using the same medications often given by a rheumatologist specialist and one of the most commonly prescribed medications to control the condition is Methotrexate.
