Right who did this and what's the song called you lot!.
Now, don't hang on
nothing last forever
but the earth and sky
it slips away
And all your money
won't another minute buy
Now, don't hang on
nothing last forever
but the earth and sky
it slips away
And all your money
won't another minute buy

Again, no idea. So sorry. Dreamdaisy (Will post one of my faves after this is solved. Bet you won't get it - it has in it the best compliment you can pay to a woman.)Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi DD I'll give you a clue to the group, it's where Dorothy comes from!. Right that's I've probably given it away so no more you will have to work it out for yerself!0
-
there is a faint possibility that
motherless daughters sang it :shock:I know i am a lady ,all life is a journey xx MAY xx0 -
Nope!0

Read and think about the clue, where and what is it that is causing all the problems with planes right now, mostly over the north.??.0

Well it's obviously volcanic ash but, as stated before, my knowledge of pop music is negligible. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind
Dust in the wind
fabulous song!

Well done Iris you got it!.0

Right mell, may I intrude upon your thread? How about this:
I love you more than an ice-cream cone,
More than a hungry dog loves a bone,
Duty free **** or a carton of wine,
More than a pint after closing time . .
More, more, more, I love you more,
More, more, more I love you more,
More, more, more I love you more,
I love you so much more.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -

Bugger I know this song but can't fink who it is right now. How about a clue then DD???.0 -
The band's name could be a slang term for orthopaedic surgeons. (Talk about giving it away!) 8) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Saw Doctors, I want you more.0

Correct! Thought the clue was too easy! First heard this at a campsite in Southwold on an August bank holiday. That was the time I fell thro a deckchair. God, that was funny. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Was it more funny than when I fell through one. Hubby gets me out of my wheelchair
puts me in deckchair all of a sudden there was what sounded like a rude *** then I hit the sand just as everybody has turned to see where the rude noise came from

Toni xx0 -
Sorry Toni!.
Right you want another lyric Ok here goes, I love this song but it also makes me very sad as it alway's reminds me of my dear departed brother who died in 1990 he loved the film it came from.
The only clues I'll give you are these, it's from a film and it did a lot of filming in Scotland one of the places was the beautiful eilean donald castle.
Right I digress so here goes. Who did this and what was the film.
There's no time for us, There's no place for us, What is this thing that builds our dreams Yet slips away from us.0 -
Where's Chris7???
She always likes it when I say this....
Can I just have a teeny weeny clue....
thinking maybe an approximate year????
or am I pushing my luck
Toni xx0 -
High Toni, hmm!, year was around 1988/89 I think, a big clue to the name of the film is where a lot of it was filmed, also the super group that did the music score had an album off the back end of it and one of the songs in the film was used as the album title. The group no longer exist in the old line up as the singer is dead.0

It's 'Who wants to live forever' by Freddie Mercury and Queen and it's from Highlander. Oh and its Eilean Donan Castle btw.
