Good luck with it all. I'm sure it will go splendidly and just think of the improvement it will make! Be assiduous in doing the exercises etc and recovery will, I am certain, be rapid. Dreamdaisy

Thank you for continuing the well wishes. Hoping the weather improves in time for my "release!!" Took S out for a meal tonight - he had a fab time - you should have seen his face when his pud arrived, bless him.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Hoping the time of year, the sunshine and warmth --which must come soon ---keep you feeling positive, especially on the harder days.

Without this is the best time of year to recuperate, as the May snow lays thick and white on the ground and we all turn up the heating again! Good luck, sweetie. I am sure it will all go swimmingly well. Do your exercises and get people to supply you with proper food, not the usual hospital muck. Take your hand gel, wet wipes, baby talc etc (my hospital survival kit!). Let us know, as soon as you can, when you get home. Dreamdaisy

Wonder what pud he loved. Ice cream? I only have to buy a can of coke and my son is in heaven!

Lucy went back to school today. She wasnt very happy.I presume S is at home from school with a holiday soon after your return. I do hope you will manage.

    Good luck
