Hi DD,
Just dropping you in a sugar coated (((((( )))))) and a hope you soon feel a lot better. Luv Cris xx0 -
Hi DD
Glad you enjoyed your choccy treats and that hubby was looking after you will last night (in between goals)!
Hope Humira injection site has calmed down now and that you have survived your weekly meth stabbing!
Tilly x0 -
Hi DD, could always invest in some permanent marker pens - mark/colour code yesterday's Humira jab site as a "no no" ....?!
Hope you are feeling better today.
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
That's a thought! I'll end up with crosses everywhere, and one or two target sights. Feeling lousy today, very tired, didn't sleep well, had a difficult day and now have to go and wrestle with making meatballs for the first time in my life. I really am NOT in the mood. Still, promised The Husband more boy food, so has to be done. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Sorry you have had a rough day DD and hope tomorrow is better..

Hi DD, tell hubby - real men eat food out of cans - and next time you feel rough give him meatballs out of a tin!! Or even pass them off as your own!!
Get in more freezer "boy" food for when cooking is really the last thing you feel like doing.
Hope you have a better day tomorrow,

Hi DD,
Hoe you are having a good sleep and today will be kinder to you. Thinking of you and sending more honey chew sticks....... the packet says they are good for stress
Really hope you do have a better day. Luv Cris xx0 -
Thank you my thoughtful friend! They certainly are yummy, tho as I've just stated over on dorcas's thread I am so hungry I will eat anything. MY hattieness is developing well, getting heavier, like a drink (!) but the rampant libido still hasn't turned up. Can't have everything I suppose. DDHave you got the despatches? What is all this talk about Mars Bars ice-cream when I am trying to follow my lentil and leaf diet Miss DD??
Stop thinking you will get fat ..... anyway, even if you DO get fat then there is more of you which is a good thing for us lot on this site and you support us all so much. Sorry, selfish of me I know
Mung beans and lettuce rock .... not. Please let me just sniff your mars bar icecream :P
Hope you having a decent day today DD, much love, Carol x0 -
The Mars bar ice cream is a reward for the gross stomach stabbing. One needs a little something to encourage one to do battle with these vile meds. Grazing on veg, drin king copious amounts of water to feel 'full', appetite increasing daily, things that fitted two weeks ago now no longer do. Still feeling 'fake' better, but know that the long-term prognosis ain't great (is it ever?) I am unwilling to waste money on SW or WW - I suspect I could live on fresh air now and still carry on getting fatter! This is what steroids do to some people, they've done it with me before, they will do it with me again. I am in the hamster wheel of vicious failure, running (ha-ha) like mad. Aw DD, you have convinced me that you are taking ice creams for medicinal purposes so that is ok.
I cannot fully understand what you are going through as I only had one steriod jab just the once and felt no effect so although I have not experienced what you are going through you have ALL my positive thoughts that I have that you will feel a bit better very soon.
And please remember that you don't have to be 'fake happy' as you put it on this site. This is where you can moan and scream to us to let your frustration out a bit.
Have a good day today DD, Carol x0 -
I love mars bar ice creams too! I wish Lettuce tasted like fish and chips - I hate dieting! Why do all the things good for us taste yucky!
I have had a few week courses of steroids and I know how great they make you feel - but as soon as your off them bang! its back again! it truly is fake! Its so frustrating. I hope you feel a bit better soon and not so worried about your weight.0 -
Hi DD,
This getting fat on air isn't good eh?! I am the same, been crash dieting all my life and I have the siege mode thing now.....
Thing is at least your feeling a bit better. I am leaving you a honey stick dipped in chocolate and stealing a mars bar..... well fair exchange and all that
Hoe you have a reasonable day flower. Cris xx0 -
Trust you to leave temptation in my path! Thank you my lovely one. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Oh DD - so sorry to hear that things are still awful for you..
Can't offer any advice, I'm afraid, just look after yourself, keep cool and fresh and treat yourself to Mars bar ice creams if you want, you WILL lose the steroid weight afterwards....
Marion x0 -
Oh, I'm not worried about that, tho thank you for the re-assurance! I came back to delete the post but you got in first! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Right, an update. I sat down at my computer earlier and the button flew off my skirt. I went upstairs and changed into a pair of trousers, came back, sat down and off flew another button. To save any more flying buttons I have now cut them off everything. That will stop me feeling cross as my hattie-ness grows. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Up you pop again babycham and make me laugh! I do have a variety of large pins, but the flab is substance enough. I don't move fast enough for anything to fall down anyway. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Safer than a nappy pin is an elastic band - threaded through itself to loop through the button hole and then the other end looped round the button ....

Bumped up for ElaineThe happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.
If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.0
