    Hi Jan and Julie,

he has got her markings almost the same. he should darken slightly and he is really sweet. he wants to come and see me but she is being Onlyish.... Her ears have already dented her neck but now... they are making holes :lol::lol: hence the head collar :lol::lol: Bless her she is easy to bribe cus she likes her food.....

I think last years was a goner had I not got home when I did but I don't know for sure..... thankfully..... I do tend to watch them like a hawk cus its important with the big foals. xx

    Hi Trish,

I didn't happen on her, I was there when she started and so stepped in when I needed to bless her. She gets so tied cus they are big for her to foal. I forget pain cus all I can see is a dead foal if you don't help and that would be so horrible...... Doesn't make me special at all... It really doesn't.

Hey daytime pics on there way for you and he has really changed all ready! xx

    Hi Wonky,

I am a zombie but after the sale tomorrow I will get the sheep finished and then take it easy on Monday. I hope a certain young lady has forgiven you?! xx

    Cris

When you get back tomorrow please do get some rest. You need to recharge your batteries.

If you were not there Cris, the outcome would have been sad.

He is a lovely looking colt. Do the foals all have the same dad Cris?

    Hi Trish,

That's my plan.... have a couple of hours rest and then get the sheeps finished, I was going to today bu my bones are in total up roar and my legs gave out too much to risk shearing the rest off. Its cool at the mo so they are okish.... There is just their bellies and a bit round the back to do and I must get them done..... I must....

next big push eh?! Tomorrow i think i will get them finished off ....

    Hope you are ok today?

Oh all this years foals have the same Dad and if you look at them you can see the \re related.

Primmy will be back soon :D:D:D Love and a ((((( ))))) Cris xx

Cris what fab photos, I'm going to choose one for my current desktop background. He is just so leggy - reminds me of when we were kids and lived down south - we used to drive through the New Forest and loved looking out for foals. No wonder you struggle on looking after your brood in a setting like that ... stunning. Thanks for sharing.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Rowan, he's an absolute beauty and so like his mum. What an incredible thing to witness, the start of new life. Do you feel a special bond to him Cris, as you had to help him along and saved his life!!!! Do the horses belong to you. Thank you so much for the photos, they're gorgeous. Love Brenda xx

    Brenda

Cris loves them all. She rescues animals. She don't brag but she gave the gift of life to a lamb as well a few years ago.

Animals are her life. She is very special.

Skezier, just caught up with this thread - I loved your post on 12.6, stating that the foal was less dazrd and confused but that you'd gone the other way! That made I giggle! I hope you are feeling much better now and that you have had some rest over the weekend. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben
