    Hi Barbara
Thanks for the support...might not be so brave when it gets closer to the time but at least its not long since I had the other one done so should have an idea what to expect.
    Hi DD
I'll take your word for it LOL LOL
I'm OK at the minute with the micra......but if my ankle gets really bad we havent got the money to just say OK lets get you an automatic {its a 2nd car} so I thought....think ahead ....and when I have to change it might as well change it to an automatic....but it has to be a small automatic???????????????????????preferably a micra but dont know if they do them

You still gotta use your foot for brakes and accelerator! I havent driven for 6 years cos of pain and so miss the freedom of doing my own thing.I had an automatic Fiesta . When other hip is replaced I hope I feel more inclined to drive again.
My beloved car has now been sold on.
Are you having ankle problems too?

    Hi Hileena,
Just read back a bit. I also have OA in ankle and in need of a THR.Sometimes the whole leg aches and aches. They told me they want to do the ankle before the hip cos the recovery of hip could be hindered by a damaged, weakened ankle.

    Hi
Well....been to get the paper work done for the healthy life thing....the nurse isnt sure that they will accept me??? but will try,
Going to Weight Watchers in a few minutes.
As for the ankle.......it was Dec a year ago that it happened. Crossing behind a parked car in a small village, he started, reversed, knocked me down, reversed over my ankle then drove over it...I now have OA in it so thats where that comes from.....its OK at the min. more stiff and swollen than anything else.....I'm just thinking of the future when I change my car
As for the muscle I checked with the nurse when I was there and she says yes its a pulled muscle....so....Ibro. gel or something like that and it will sort itself out

    Love
