Hello annie, I know you can't see this but I am thinking of you and I hope you are feeling a little brighter today. The anti-biotics will help, as will lots of rest. Feast your eyes on the gorgeous men too - always a tonic! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hope you are waking up feeling WAY better Annie
I DO hope so
DD
you were right then...didn't you think it might be the dreaded cellulitis??
Hurry home Annie
Miss you
Love

Yup, frogmorton, I did as a similar thing happened to a mate of mne last year. It is nasty, skin cells become infected after being bitten. The affected limb can swell, change colour, become very tender and painful, one's temperature can shoot up and one is generally rather poorly! They got annie in quickly tho - hopefully the anti-bs will kick in fast. My friend was treated at home by the nurse - they didn't want to waste a hospital bed on him and if you met him you'd know why! He is a fully-paid up member of the awkward squad.
Thinking of you annie. Get better soon. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Trish - given the dishy matron/doctor situation, perhaps we should send the rescue party anyway - just in case?!!!! Seriously though, hope Annie doesn't need us and is back home again very soon.

angel, I have visions of you swinging in thro a window, SAS style and taking over some poor unsuspecting sap's computer! Ninja angel! tilly, you may have a point about rescuing her from the hunky men - or is it vice versa? Seriously annie, I hope you are feeling a little brighter. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Everyone
I sent Annie a text last night saying goodnight. I also sent one this morning but she has not replied yet.
I could be that her phone may have run out of credit. Or the battery needs charging and she never took it with her.
I might be she has been told that she cannot use her mobile.
If I hear I will post as quick as I can.
Love Trish xxx0 -
Thanks for letting us know Trish xx

Right I'm getting worried now. If she was in for 24 hours, that would be up by now and she would be at home and charged her phone.
Think we need a cunning rescue plan. SCRAMBLE
Got rope, two tin cans and a ball of string, some knock out drops for the staff just to we get her out they wil wake up then.
Got her blue killer heel shoes, well, she cannot get her other shoe on so only bought one. He has been eating all the cheese crumbs that Annie gets in her shoes, he said he would help too.

Hi Everyone
Annie is HOME thank goodness. She ran out of credit last night.
She had to wait as she had to have a midline in.
The District nurses are coming for the next 6 days to give her AB's through the midline.
She has to stay in bed as she must elevate her leg as it is still gammy.
She said she will try and pop in tomorrow just now and then as her leg must be up.
I have not replied yet, I rushed here first to let you know so see you in a bit.

trisher send her hugs from me so glad she is out thought tomorrow was going to be one of those here and there days lolval0

Annie
Annie has asked me to send a BIG thankyou to all of you. She has to stay in bed as much as she can to let the swelling go down.
She said that she will try and drop in every now and then as much as she can.
She is very grateful for everything you have done.
Love Trish xxxxx0 -

Hi Annie,
Glad to see you home but you MUST keep it elevated, before I lost my toe they had 6 pillows under my leg as it has to be kept very high so humour me and tell me its 2-3 feet higher than your hip please.....
Really hope it soon improves and your back to your normal self. Love and a ((( ))) cris xx0 -
