Trisher and the MRI

If my memory serves me correctly (and really people, I wouldn't bet on that at the mo!) trisher is off for her MRI tomorrow. This is just to wish you well, trisher. It's your first one I think, and the first of anything is always a little tough. I can assure you it doesn't hurt, but it is noisy! Keep your eyes closed, think lovely thoughts, and you will be fine. We'll be thinking of you (but whether we'd be allowed in your pocket or not, I don't know - they have rules about extra people and big magnets!) DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Hi Trisher
Hope I am not too late to wish you really, really good luck today.
When I went for mine the lady was very kind and let my husband stay in the room with me. So although I couldn't see or hear him, I knew he was close by and that really helped. Best to ask first though because my scan was held up for a few mins whilst they got him to fill in the paperwork and to take all his rings, belt etc off so he didn't get magnetised!
Thinking of you, and joining the pocket sitters. I think p & f's idea of all trying to cram into the scanner with you is a good one - we can even sing for you if you like, which would certainly take your mind of the scan!

Hi Trish,
Hope it all goes well for you and don't forget they will stop and give you a rest if you need one. Will be in your pocket with the others and hope my bits of metal don't upset the results... they shouldn't cus they were o with mine
It will soon be over and done with and hopefully it will mean they can help you at last. Cris xx0 -
Well Trish, my friend, the time has come for your MRI scan. Please try not to be afraid, it will be over in no time at all. Keep lovely thoughts in your mind of your darling grandson and your lovely son, they'll help you through it, we all will too. There'll be so many of us there thy'll wonder what hit them. I would like to come too, hope your black eye is better . I'll remember to be gentle next time. If they don't play any music then you can sing Rod Stewart songs in your head, we'll join in too, that should make you laugh, talk about the cats choir lol.
Lots of love and hugs Trish, it will soon be over, keep your chin up double love and hugs (((((())))))(((((((()))))) Brenda xxxxxx xxxxxx0 -

As you know, Trish, I have inadvertently been in your pocket since early this morning due to an unfortunate error on my part (I woke up convinced it was Saturday and hubby didn't disillusion me until nearly lunchtime).
I'm shortly expecting my and some to be delivered and also my sleeping bag. Did you go out today? It got quite damp in here at one point and I charitably assumed that you were out in the rain.
One point, please don't wear a watch after tomorrow - if you try you will find that your left (or right) arm is constantly pointing true north, which can be a bit awkward if you've got the remote control.
I hope we don't wake you when my food supplies for tomorrow are delivered at about 6am and I assure you the jellied eels will be fresh.
Lotsa love

Thank you for starting this Thread for me. I appreciate it very much. The scan is tomorrow in the afternoon.

Thank you for you goodwishes too.
It is not the scan that is bothering me so much
I had a very bad experience at hospital and I have never got over it. I now have a fear of being trapped without my wheelchair that is a big problem to me.
I'm so glad you are coming with me. I will have big pockets for you so you don't get squashed.
