HI Trisher,
hopeing that you are resting now after a busy day.
hope it wasn't too bad with all of us in there with you ...... I see all of us 'niffy' ones were in the same pocket ..... crikey - egg sarnies, brie butties and coal tar soap all together! ..... do you think they are trying to tell us something?
hope you sleep well tonight
loads of love and hugs

Hi Everyone
Sorry I did not get to come and thank you all for being there with me. When I got home I had a migraine took some tablets and fell asleep.
As I had been awake all night ( in pain) hubby did not wake me.
When we got there I had to get into one of their chairs as my wheelchair has metal on it. Hubby was told he could come in he had to take his belt off all coins belt.
They took Jean's needles off her, Annie was told to give the the whelks and jellied eels. to them So the both of them were crying. The rest of us were ok.
They gave me some brown stuff to drink and were apologising for it tasting so nasty. I found it was quite nice but you know Annie, once she heard me say it was nice she wanted it. Val was in my ear talking to me but when the music started Brenda joined in with Rod Steward. Ange she was in the other ear.
Well hubby was allowed in but had to take off his belt, coins wallrt everything metal.
The we went in I had to lay down I started to laugh as my two stumps were up in the air, that made them laugh which was nice.
I went in the machine and yes It was noisey but I did have the headphones on. So we had a good sing song. I had to hold my breathe that was hard as I thought I would go bang. They were so nice as the knew I have oxygen to help me breathe and gave me a rest for a while.
I got throught it and then we started to come home.
We had to pay for parking. Hubby put the ticket in but the machine threw it out so we tried again and it did it again. Then he realized he had left it in his pocket and the metallic strip had been wiped off. There we were with a useless ticket and there was our car in the car park. We found another machine that had a buzzer on it and the man told us to go to where he was.
The best part was he took 2 hours off the ticket as he saw I was disabled.
I want to thank all those who came with me. You really do think of everyone here honestly you do. Thank you to all who sent there good wishes and those that PM'd me.
I now hope this is going to be the last test I have to have, I have had so many. It has been a long tough road.
Once again thanks to all you lovely people. DD thank you for starting this Thread.
Love Trisher xxxx

Hi Trish
I'll bet you are glad the MRI is over and I hope you are resting well now. Also hope the migraine is all gone now. I used to suffer them alot and know that stress brings them out.
Well done on having such a smiley and positive attitude through this.
Thinking of you.

Well done to you trisher. These things are not easy - I didn't realise they would give you stuff to drink as that had never happened to me, so I apologise for not being able to warn you about that bit. They are noisy machines, aren't they? I think you coped magnificently, and well done to your husband too - I hope he had headphones as well! Right, Doctor DD orders you to rest today. Please make sure you do. And, bless you, there is absolutely no need to thank me, though I appreciate the fact that you have. It's not difficult to remember what people are doing/facing and to try to help in some way. You have it tougher than many on here. That's a fact.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
