THINKING OF IRIS AND JANIE TOMORROW - THURSDAY

Apologies if I'm duplicating here but I think it is tomorrow that Iris and Janie go for their second infusions of Infliximab and Rituximab respectively.

Just wanted to wish you both best of luck and say I will be thinking of you!

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Hope's dress all cleaned and Elna will iron it again so she will be presentable :wink: Me well i never am as you know :lol::lol:

    Really hope you get some benefits and also it doesn't wish you too much. ((((( ))))) and a cuppa with side dishes of dandelions and saffron with special clotted cream that has healing properties..... :wink: xxx

    bless your cotton socks for remembering but my next Infliximab infusion day's been changed, at my request, to Friday.... :oops:

    I'll save the good wishes in my pocket 'til then but can't promise to keep the choccies PF!

    Elna can stand down with ironing Hope's dress too Cris. :wink:

    So it's best of luck for tomorrow from me too to Janie..... hope that all goes smoothly with no after effects this time.

    Hello everyone

    Thank you all very much and especially to Tilly for remembering! I'm all ready for tomorrow, got my trashy mags again, essential reading you understand! :D

    I should be better this time, and it shouldn't take so long tomorrow.

    I shal let you know how I get on and of course if it does work for me. This could happen quite quickly all being well.

    Hope you all sleep well, please feel free to come in my pockets as the nurses do have a few chocs and the food is not bad either! Lots of tea too!

    Good Luck Janie...and in advance to Iris...just incase I dont get on here tomorrow......you never know what fate may befall your ITTs and BITs overnight! But I am hoping they will stay intact!

    No hitches yesterday, no reactions like last time. Got home at 2pm. Again a 3 course lunch, but I couldn't eat it all. Now I feel rubbish so just going to rest up and do nothing.

    So glad no probs with infusion this time - but sorry you are feeling so rough now. Hopefully once you get over this infusion that will be it for a good six months or so!

    You rest, janie, these drugs are heap big powerful and can knock one sideways for a while. I hope you feel brighter soon and that the ritux is doing something to help. DD
