    Hi Janie :D

glad to hear that the tiredness is wearing off  have you felt or seen any improvements in your joints yet?

I wondered if anyone explained why the Rituximab causes such awful tiredness?

Hoping that this drug will be effective for you Janie and that improvements follow fast now that you've had your second infusion.

    (((hugs)))

Morning janie, I hope you are feeling more alert today. Has the ritux begun to have any effect on your arthritis? DD

No it hasn't started to work, it could be a few weeks yet. I will know for sure by 3 months. Infact, I'm in a lot of pain today, so it hasn't done it's magic yet but it could be my last bad day I have couldn't it? :)

I'm sorting out school stuff today ready for my daughter, she starts high school tomorrow, she is nervous.

The tiredness is caused by the infusion killing off the b cells responsible for inflammation so I'm not worried, it'll go off by Wednesday.

    Have a painfree day!

You are sounding very sanguine about the whole thing, well done you. I suppose it will take some time to reduce the symptoms but I hope something starts to happen soon. Good luck for your daughter tomorrow: is she excited, nervous, pleased or a mixture of all three? DD

She is nervous, doesn't want to go at all. Worried about getting lost, making new friends but the school will look after the new students. I keep reinforcing the good things about high school, for instance new clubs to try, new friends, better facilities, better food!

I know I'll be tearful when I drop her off!

    Hi Janie :D

I hope that your daughter's first day isn't too traumatic for both of you. It's a big step and it's understandable she's nervous.

The first day is always the worst... so hopefully by tomorrow night she'll be feeling a bit less anxious.

I'll be thinking about her ...and you.... tomorrow morning. Being a parent is a tough job that's for sure.

let us know how her first day went ?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that the Rituximab will work and that it just takes time to get into the system. Hope otherwise that the pain you're in eases really soon.

((((hugs)))) for you and your daughter.

    Hi Janie,

I hope you soon get some benefits from this. Do you go again next month for our pocket duties diary?

Bless her its a big change but a lot of her friends form small school will also be there and after the first day it will get easier for her.

You rest up and give it a chance to help you and hope you really do see some benefits soon. Cris x

    Hi janie

I feel for both you and your daughter

A new school a biger one can be quite scarey but i am sure she will be fine. She will soon find a friend and her way around the school.

I always worried when my daughter started all the schools. Infant junior and senior. (and know what ... i even worried about 6th form and then uni) She was ok about it, it was me. Now at 22 i still worry.

Hope she has a good day with lots of exciting things to say tonight.

I hope you are feeling ok too.

    love juliepf x

Well everyone, she's gone! We pulled up and as soon as she saw her friend to go into school with, then it was, "Bye Mum" and a quick kiss. I was pleased about that and I didn't shed a tear either!

I hope that as Julie said, she is full of news about her day! :)

And I don't feel as bad today... :D

But what to do now? I feel some tv and a cuppa coming on
