I am glad he got a ticket. Maybe it will make him think twice next time.
I get annoyed with the people who abuse the disabled and mother and toddler / child spaces.
Especially when I've seen them with no kids, and then some have brought teenagers with them, all of whom walk perfectly well (I would make exceptions for anyone who wasn't as able bodied naturally).
I park in them with my five year old on occasion as I shop early Saturday mornings, my boy is always awake, and I don't like crowds and trolley rage, plus if I'm having a bad day, I need the closeness to the shops because I can't justify applying for a BB when during the summer months, I seem to walk much better anyway (at the moment, touch wood and all that)!
Those that abuse them tend to be perfectly able to walk, talk and move and it annoys me they see fit to put someone else out.
Equally I've seen parents with tiny babies struggle across busy car parks with car seats and hyper toddlers feeling for them, and people struggling to walk from far spaces because there are none left.
Justice for you though, seeing the ticket issued!_______________________

Hi Kerry
Well its sad now isnt it that you cant speak to people now without them being cautios of you....Even mums with kids, one was playing peek a boo with me today in queue at Asda, tried to talk to mother but she wasnt interested...

Hi
Your story reminds me of when i worked for CPS. We got another temp in to help me and im telling you a corpse has more life in them...Anyway is turned out this woman a week into the job was pregnant, only early stages, not even 3 months....This meant she refused to even lift a file or walk up or down stairs....I was at this time able bodied but was fed up with her attitude - in my opinion pregnancy is a choice, not an illness, and she treated it as an illness....
After kneeling on my knees for an hour and moving files, with her not lifting a finger to help i had enough and told her i had a chronic knee condition and just cos she was pregnant she sholdnt make me do all the work...I also told her if she couldnt do the job she shouldnt be there...I felt justified as this woman was getting same pay as me but doing a third of the work....

I was away camping and they made it clear cars would pay a fiver but didnt mention free to those with a badge! I was sitting in front seat with my crutches and it was long walk to the campsite and I had to rest a dozen times. In fact the walk contributed to a painfulevening IMO.
But it was my fault and I shall have to remember to ask next time.

Well I know what you mean...Just yesterday i went into town and got out of car looked to see if road was free to cross....A post van was coming out of depot so i waited, did so then proceeded to cross....I was then halfway across road when a land rover reversed at speed over the post office entrance in into my path, i really thought i was going to get run over as was sort of stuck halfway in middle of road and panicking.....The bloke had an old woman to drop off but i told him he hadnt even so much as looked in his mirror to see what was about......He didnt answer me but he didnt move either....
