    Jan

Good to hear you are on the mend. It must have been scary for you and especially poor Aimee.

Drink plenty to keep hydrated, and eat little and often if you can.

But no cuppas!! Well, I'm sure you won't do without for long!!

Take care and rest up loads Jan :P

Jan my heart Goes out to you, They are really nasty things.
I seem to be ending up with one every month at the moment,
due to my damaged kidney,I have a constant supply of antibiotics so soon as a feel one starting I start popping them
Trouble is when you get it really bad like the one you are going through,
at first you don't know whats wrong, & it doesn't help having Arthur,
because you don't always know at first where the pains coming from,
GOD I DON'T WRITE VERY OFTEN,NOW I'M BABBLING ON
Just drink plenty of cranberry juice or water,BIG((((((()))))

Cris has a sixth sense dont you think? Very glad it didn't spoil your holiday although the journey home sounded traumatic for you.

I used to get it years ago. It seems the infection remains and flares up. Eventually mine was sorted when treated whilst expecting baby no.1 and I am so glad. i hate to think of you suffering so much.

Take care, keep warm and cuddled up with the hot water bottle, Hubby can wait.

Last Saturday, I remember thinking, Jan`s back today, she`ll come crashing in with some funny story. Little did I know, it was no story, it was all going off for real, and it wasn`t funny!

You take great care now sweetie.........Much love.......Ange.

    Hi Jan,

    Of course we cares.....

Hey wish I had been wrong but you didn't look right..... I used to be an ambulance person don't forget... we knew a thing or two about people not looking right...... from doorways as we tried to leg it :lol: I never said I was any good :lol:

I have side tracked haz to be my nurse so that's one less thing for you to worry about but MY Primmy is now in her doctor costume...a bit small I thought so think she nicked it from Hops.... and is on her way as well. She does know Little legs and though she can't bark she will cuddle you till your better.... but..... she is still MY Primmy :lol::lol:

You look after your self and please get some low grade front line defences against this coming back. ((((( ))))) Cris xx[/u]

    Jan,

What a rotten end to your holiday. I do hope you are on the mend now.

You mentioned asking the doc about constant antibiotics. my aunt gets this for the same reason and they rotate the type she takes so the body doesn't build up a tolerance. Just thought I would let you know in case your doc is reluctant.
