    Hello,

Ah, I have got my desk facing the children and have a good chair so I sit to teach them :-) with my comfy supportive cushion too and then in the winter I can hide my kettle behind it and my hot water bottle!!!!!!

Congratulations on your new job St Lucia. I do hope all the walking is not going to set off your pain ....Teachers also tend to stand a lot don't they? I hope it all works out well,

Hey how did it go with your first class? Don't worry, things calm down and the first year is always the hardest :-) Are you primary or secondary?

    Hi Stlucia

I am teaching secondary school children 11 to 16. We had the year 7 years in today for their orientation. The first class went well. I think the year 7s were a bit shell shocked and so were very quiet and sweet. I'll give them a week before it all kicks off

Fortunately, the my ankles are holding off at the mo but who knows what will happen once I have done a full week of teaching.

I'm glad your second day went well. Are you full or part time.

Ugh secondary - I'm scared already!

You can get good supportive tubigrip type sports ankle supports in boots - they've helped me.

Let me know how it goes? Do you do a subject you can sit down in??

Congratulations. If sounds as if you will soon have better meds as well as building up muscle strength, so things really do look good.
    Wishing you well, love Suexxxx

    Thank you!

I think that the steroid injection is working as a few weeks ago I couldn't even get out of a chair without help!!!! I dread the day it wears off!
