    I got my first (and only) tattoo done last Thursday - have got a tribal flower design in the small of my back with my husband's and kids initials on it :D

    Went to a conference over the weekend in Newcastle and also out drinking in the gay quarter on Saturday night. Let's just say that I didn't know anyone before I arrived but was best friends with everyone by Sunday morning and have of Newcastle now know what my tattoo looks like!

    Yes, I'm very proud of myself and my daughters are SO jealous :D I've been wanting to get one done for years and finally bit the bullet last week. Just get it over with, Del!

    Elizabeth, I met a lot of people on Saturday and had a lovely time. I probably did meet your daughter but wouldn't be able to pick her out of a line up now :D

    My cousins daughter is training to be a tattooist & has persueded our great -aunt who was SOOO Victorian when we were young, to have one done on her shoulder! She is 81!!
    I hate tattoos but my OH had some down on his upper arms when he was 17 & he hates them now! He won't go out in summer without his top on cos of them which is a real shame as he has such a fit bod! :(

    OH tat done when he was 16 and he's not keen on it now either. He might get it covered with a new one.

Poor lad has not had the time to get one done.

    Well, I think my aunt has something subtle & pretty in mind like a little butterfly but Kat is a real wild child & I can see her doing something slightly more raunchy!!
    My cousin & I went into shock when she told us as she gave us such a hard time growing up! Revenge could be sweet!

    I have a small one on my bum had it done when i was 16 before the needle phobia really kicked in.
    OH has loads and lots of piercings too.

    Oh god that is nothing my 23 year old lad has had hands done one his cheeks....one on each. Looks awful but it is his bottom. Done when he had tooo many drinks. Thank god clothes cover it...he will not be wearing a throng anytime soon :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Are you REALLY going to get your nose pierced?

    I have my tummy button pierced but wouldn't have the nerve for my nose.
