So sorry to read that this has happened to you.

I'll bet by now that you just want the police to meet with you as soon as possible so you can have your mind put at rest. I wonder who said that the police will be visiting with you? If they do come around, once they see that you are a thoroughly decent human being and listen to your side of events I just know that they will confirm what everyone else is saying and that it will all be done and dusted.

I had an incident in the supermarket months ago where the woman behind me was tutting and commenting on how long I was taking to load the conveyor belt with my shopping (my elbows and hands were playing up) and when I kept ignoring her swearie words and downright rude comments she was shouting at me a security dude came over and asked ME to leave the shop!!!!! I wrote to the Manager of the supermarket and also their HQ and they sent me an apologetic letter and a gift voucher (£5 hahahaha).

Justice is on your side meantime sending lots of relaxing thoughts to you.

Barbara,

several things to do.....
1,..request the cctv is kept on file as some stores only keep them 7 days then tape over it. put it in writting to the manager and keep a copy

2,take photos of your leg, date etc on picture if your camera dont do that then hold the top a newspaper with the date showing so it is in the picture with your leg,

3, see the nurse or dr complain its sore and have it put on your record as an asault.

4, if you have insurance ring for advice

5, under no terms do you admit guilt or accept a caution, he assulted you all you did was stop him hitting you with the trolley again by stopping it as he shuved it,

do not worry to much about it all, it should be seen as the scam it realy is.

Just wanted you to know you have my support as well. He sounds a nasty person. It was his own fault. Bet he wont do that again in a hurrry.

Don't worry too much I know you will but you only pushed the trolley off your leg.

Hi Thanks again everyone for your support....I was going to pieces..I am not letting this scum win...I cant stand the thought of him doing it to someone else....the police are coming tomorrow...I have everything wrote down...and so has my granddaughter bless her.
I have read all your messages..and I have taken in all the advice...Alan I wished I had chinned him...but I am not tall enough.

Dell thanks for the link...and I have the biscuits at the ready
The police are coming today, he did report it to them, so that he can put a claim in for injuries....honestly he throw his self on the floor.
Anyway I have wrote everything down...and I am waiting for then to come :shock: 60 yrs old and never been in trouble...hope they take this into account....I am also scared he can take out civil action for compensation.
I will let you know how I get on.

Hi everyone
Just to let you know the police have been, they where very nice, I gave then a cup of tea and biscuit has Joseph advised.
They said has far has they where concerned, there would be no action taken, but they couldn't rule out him taking civil action, like they said he wants to put in a claim....gosh I am drained..but a big Thank You for getting me through this.

They had no right to contact you and you really shouldn't be talking to them as they are trying to get you to incriminate yourself by saying something about hurting him with intent. They should only contact you by letter.

Log the calls and if they do it again mention they are harrassing you.

Thanks Elizabeth, you are right, I think I was in that much shock yesterday I should never have spoken to them.
