That rudeness really annoys me - as everyone has said if they have asked if would have been okay.
Love the bit where you told them youre only physically disabled not mentalllity etc, haa haa, v funny.
Can you have a sign made, dont park over this drive etc?0 -
every time Nick Robinson pops up on the telly Mr DD and I say 'Bo selecta!'. It's riotous fun, living in our house! (I have the right Keith, don't I?)
Thank you tilly, for restoring some better humour to my features! I have been a total Eyeore today, but am now returning to my usual Tigger. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Awww DD
I've just logged in now and read your post.......I still dont see why the men couldnt temporarily shift their van.....I used to live in an old school house and people used to park across my drive {only exit} i used to nip into the police station {it was almost next door} and a traffic warden would come out and put a warning notice if not a parking ticket on it LOL

There was no room. They had started loading by the time I emerged, they did not want to drive around the block with unsecured goods in the back, I felt some sympathy for them as they were parked some distance away from the house contents they were shifting, never mind, it's all over now. There will be another day. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi DD

HI DD, how infuriating especially since avoidable. What a waste of a beautiful day. Sods law indeed.
Reminds me of a place where I used to rent - on a busy main road, where the front garden was my drive. Sometimes the chap next door would park on the pavement blocking the drive ... so I either couldn't get in or out. After polite requests, he repeatedly offended and in the end l let rip. He left a note on my car windscreen - you are beautiful when you are angry .. which did nothing for my temper!! So I hatched a plan and started knocking on his door late at night to move his car ... I'd go for a short drive and then come home. That soon put a stop to his inconsiderate parking!
SPeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
First grin of the day - thanks speedy! I bet you are beautiful even when you are not angry. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
