Just come back up from the Cane and Able - and brought some supplies for the secret cupboard, there is now Brandy, Whisky, and Baileys for your coffees ( we need it in this weather)
Catch you all later
Cath0 -
Evening to one and all, hope you are all feeling as ok as possible, despite this persistently damp weather, well, more like a monsoon season.
Baileys, I could go for one of those, minus the coffee though. Just the one mind, or I will be falling off my perch.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

A pink Mohican, well, there's a sight to conjure with. Moving wardrobes? is that a good idea? No, I hear the cry. Steady now, payback remember.
I am fair thanks, diuretics did nothing at all, not one extra wee, there was me thinking I would be in the loo all day. A bigger dose is needed.
Bought a new vacuum cleaner, vax mach air, pet. So light, only 4 kilos or so, it is fab u lous. I still cannot do any real vaccuming, as my back just sets within a minute, but it is by far the best one we have ever had and boy have we had some vacs over the years. OH did right through in no time, thought our carpets were clean, until we used it, then I nearly fainted with shame.
I will ignore the comments about slowness of tea making, but thank Cath for supplying the berverages.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Aye hun, payback is already starting with mi knees.... We all do it though, just that bit more won't hurt, blah blah blah...
What dose of furusemide have they given you? Not that I know what OH is taking now, but I know she's on a fair wack and has to increase from time to time... Hope the higher dose helps hun... It must be shattering for you all this, I will forgive you for the tetley tea tardiness
Oh, me and mi mohican eh?? Lol
You wouldn't believe the colours it was... It got to the point where the nurses at the LGI would bet on what colour it would be next time I turned upMe-Tony

LOL, I used to change my hair colour every few weeks, copper, red, honey blond, back to copper, was more blond than Diana Doors at one point, hair like fuse wire in the end. Takes me back Now, just grey, ahhh, bless.
Only 20 mg, which is a piddling dose, if you pardon the pun. It will sort out, have to make appointment with cardiologist, he is the best one to see, the GP is erring on the side of caution and doesn't want to tread on the boss's toes, until we know one way or the other about heart failure. Still, onwards, upwards, Lark Rise tomorrow evening, so that will cheer me up no end.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
LGI, been there a fair few times, on various courses and training days. Parking was a nightmare as I remember, had to park miles away and walk.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0

Right bubbles, tony and anyone else, I have mashed a big pot of tetleys for you to top up. I am having hot choc and will take it off to my bed with me.
Tony what are you like moving wardrobes and such, reminds me of when I smashed up some old wardrobes a couple of years ago and my back went, as it happened I was expecting company and instead of me entertaining them they had to put me to bed! So you take care.
Off now, Hotchoc and pills then bed and pray that tonight I get at least a decent amount of sleep
Nite nite all xx0 -
Well good luck with the tablets luv..
You're not the 'only grey in the village'.... Me too hun, lol.
We lived a five minute walk from LGI (twenty minute walk for the likes of us, lol)
Was under Prof Abberton way back in the early/mid eighties, big imposing fella..
Gonna go soon hun, so will say goodnight and will chat tomorrow..
You be well
Goodnight Cath, anyone else that's left.. Gonna have a quick nosey on the forum at the various threads I usually stick mi neb in then it is bye bye's for me and the catsMe-Tony
