    Did you mention pancakes, Val :?: I love them with fresh lemon juice and sugar, but can eat them by the dozen with any topping. I'm pretty good at tossing them too, so I'll give you a hand on Pancake Day.

    you mean I have to wait till march for my pancakes :cry: no way ....just lemon and sugar....I love them...could eat one now with a nice cup of tea..

    Pancakes are yummy. sugar and lemon, black cherry pie filling and icecream mmmm

    right lets get these mouldy eclaires out and these fresh ones in just incase Debs pops in.

    Kettles on anyone want one?

    oh pancakes!! hope there are some left - can't decide what will go best on them so maybe I'll have one of every variety.

    sounds like you've all been having fun today wish i could drop by earlier I'm missing all the laughs.

    time for a brew anyone for a top-up?

    Hi Katie, Rose Cath, Barbara and all who I have missed - had to hurry in, just in case the pancakes had all gone. Hope everyone is as ok as possible and taking lots of care.
    Maple syrup and caramel ice cream please on mine please. Who is doing the tossing, Val, is it you? OH, that sounds so bad, apologies, it is not meant to sound rude. :oops: I think that is a Wonky moment.

    i think they were talking about tossing earlier and it sounded quite rude - keep missing all the fun!

    i don't mind having a go but dont shout if the pancake gets stuck to the ceiling :lol:

    Oh dear, WOnky warning on the pancake, what shall we say, "flipping". I don't mind if they hit the ceiling, I am sure some will land in the pan. I dare not, or the pan will go with it. Oh it's so long since I had pancakes, mmmmmm, wonder if they do them in mark's? how lazy IS that, they are not rocket science when all is said and done, shame on me.

    i actually saw pancakes ready-made mixture in shop today - was soo tempted! but was with a work colleague who tut-tuts at ready-made things, will sneak back tomorrow i think shall i pick some up and we can give them a go :lol:

    flipping is a much better word - although that probably means something rude too unbeknown to me!

    Hi Rose, yes, I bought two family bags, to add to the treat cupboard, one pack is already emptied into the biscuit tin, have eaten a few, but I feel I could eat more in a while. I still have a HUGE thornton's box to open, from Christmas, being really good not opening it, looks too nice.

    Crikey Dell, you were in here early this morning! I will give the place a clean, seems to be a smell of hot oil and pancakes, sugar all over the floor and what is that on the lamp shade? - oh its a pancake! Need a cuppa before tackling all this mess.

    just popped by for a cuppa, has to be a small cup today hands etc very sore and dropping everything today, so appoligies for any mess, hope everyone is ok
