Brenda came yesterday as we were talking Charlie came he said the Doctors just been and he has to go to hospital because is hands are shaking and he feels dizzy. I phoned him this morning to ask how he was he said he’s had a brain scan and they found something so he’s waiting for a MRI

Nice to see some seedlings frog! 😀 how kind of you to replace Elfie's so that he is not waiting and maybe disappointed over his one 'lost sheep' 😊, I'm sure it will be the most super seedling🌱. Your little one, well it looks tomato-y, but is it? It's not the cucumbers I assume if they were in with Elfie's, unless they had a backup tray too. I have some pics too they are in the can so to speak 📽️ won't get around to them today but soon - seedlings and other plants. The lupins are a dwarf type. Is it too cold, hmm, well I've had average success germinating in this warm spell I think, I move mine around so maybe compared to you they aren't in a cold overnight spot 🤔. I have faith in the honesty I hope to hear good news 🤞. That poor lottery lady having to come over to your house, well it was the perfect illustration of how much you need the church facilities, but oh poor soul it's awful 😣. Good luck with it all. Hope you got your car back, and the buses & taxis worked out ok. Lovely day anyway and yes it has been lovely Fig weather, if you must, but yes you will be happier not playing the odds of a scrape 😬. Hoping to for a Piddle walk tomorrow so am currently rounding up all my soft plastic from its various hideyholes to drop off at al fresco. Hope Paul has a good trip over, love to everyone 😘 xx

It was a many hair clip day then yesterday, or should have been 🌪️ can't have too many 😄, didn't you post a pic the other day of someone with a headful (though that was a metaphorical sort of thing wasn't it). All quiet here today I have not broken into the jelly snakes yet, they have a name actually they are Susan snakes apparently 😂 so the thing is, is it rude to eat snakes you have been introduced to, that's a very Alice-y question isn't it 🤔. You have been employing the Cheshire cat smile yourself I see 😉 good move. Sorry about subsidiary nice T's arm, is there room for any more improvement? hope so. The day wasn’t all that bad - despite the sorceress they call mxt of course- but the soir was no celebratory pleasant soirée but more a soir of eruptions and magma - related parental tantrums, oh dear.

Yes I seem to take several centuries to leave the house these days for various reasons and there really wasn’t time to put 16 hair clips in my hair or whatever the fashion is in Paris or Dubai lol, so I experimented with less clips, but it meant I had to adjust the applied clips (not the applied physics, I’m no scientist I’m afraid) en route, which wasn’t as annoying as it seems actually, I’m just glad to still have thick hair, poor mum sometimes wears a hairpiece these days of course.

I could well have posted such a picture, I post such a lot of strange stuff I can’t even remember haha, but yes probably metaphorical, although we can make our own style as golden - scone deprived literary JA - style heroines I give you permission haha.

Ah yes whether to become a jelly sweet vegetarian is the question indeed, to eat or not to eat, as the great bill, sorry bard 😂, said, i understand the dilemma, when you’ve sat in the same meetings as Susie Snake, made her tea (but not scones obviously) when the boss called her the most venomous snake in the office, yes bonds are formed, I get that, but then again if bill consumed all the porridge remotely from the Middle East, I’m afraid it could ultimately be the only choice, go on, devour a colleague snake (high protein) I’ll influence the boss so he or she hires a Percy pig, you may have to guard your sandwiches around him at all times, but he’s a jolly kind of co - worker and won’t steal your hair clips - so there’s a relatively happy ending haha

Morning Skinny Keef I am so glad you are turning the corner. Hope the plants got watered in time and there is no evidence that they might not have been tended to daily!!! Glad you got out on the bike even if it was a short ride. Helmets are heavy before you even go over a speed bump!

If you get a pillow like mine and can test if check it isn't tooooo firm. Mine costs about £40 but lasts a year or so before I think it's not the right shape anymore.

My sister made a mistake. The pharmacy gave her the wrong dose of quetiapine so she has accidentally been taking double dose! At least it explains why she's been feeling odd and very very 'flat'. Her fault but really they should try to give you the right dose although there has been a shortage of it up here. She's got to steadily sort it out now🙄

Yes exactly people would queue for miles to hear Reading's Rembrandt speak. Revelations with Reading's Rembrandt great alliteration there. A Guru yes he surely is….the man is multi-talented. 🤥

You mentioned hair (yes it was windy yesterday I wore my hat but was too warm with it on! What do you do?! Hold on to that tree and give nasty M her hat and broomstick back 😁 Though do please keep the shoes I love them!!

Hope EF are having a lovely time how are they getting on with the food. If they try it there is some good stuff out there although they do have 'bra-hooks' if they get desperate. Not sure you can get a sausage roll in there though LA sorry.

Morning Toady another lovely day although rumour has it tomorrow is the last decent day. Really? How rude. Mind the ground is solid now really solid so we do need rain. Furthermore my weather app is now showing rain quite a bit of next week though not all of it so could be ideal gardening weather.

10/10!! The seedling is indeed a 🍅 and yes the cucumbers are in theory in with Elfie's. I think he is extra proud of his tiny 'baby' seedling bless him. I am glad yours are doing well too. I finally finished weeding the bed I have been working at on and off all week so pleased with myself for that.

Paul is fast asleep after getting home at 2am (thanks for asking) and has to be up by 7.30 to go to his next job! Really?! He needs to plan better.

Yes gather those soft plastics they need to be recycled nasty things harming wildlife if they get out there. Shame they are not part of household recycling isn't it? Be careful in piddle things can go wrong! B&M have some gorgeous plants outside you know - I saw them while waiting for the taxi to fetch Dudley. Who BTW is safely home on the drive smiling ☺ I love the bus though. This time last year I was catching quite a lot of them. Yesterday's driver was a really nice man.

Hi all, just a quick one, mostly gardening etc have appended it in a separate chapter for the uninterested 🤭

Haven't been out yet (to the shops) frog, too hot and it might still be later as well but I'd rather today than Saturday. We'll see 🤔. Ooh a prize for me in seedling ID, very happy with that 😀 hope they do well. And Elfie's of course, I feel very 'invested' in those as they say 😊. My updates are below aside of the tulip which is for Joan who likes orange. Please don't take my lovely weather away, I'm so happy 😣 yes rain if it must but just little & often please not some great swathe sweeping in. If I do get to Piddle today I will be careful honest 👍️ I already resisted some bedding plants the other day so it is possible 😄. B&M, don't have one atm, possibly this is a good thing 🤨 although there are rumours so one day there may be a nearer branch. Glad the Juke is back and you weren't inconvenienced any further 😀 have had some nice bus trips in my time, shame the services have been eroded so much, steadily, I mean spending 'millions' on new bus stop arrival time display screens is all very well.. 🙄 as for QR codes, ugh, less said the better. Oh dear Paul had to do a quick turnaround for work, hope that was as ok as poss. not too far or for too long 🤞 and has the weekend free I hope. Poor Kari, that could have been quite concerning 😧 as you say, it may be that having a reason for how she's felt is a small silver lining, but hope sorting her doses out isn't too troublesome. Seed & plant update 🌞

Top pic is my infant lupins taken today, and next to them a geum that is nearly coming into flower. I grew that from seed and it was originally planted out but started looking very unhappy, wrong position too much shade (in among the lemon mint in fact!). So I risked digging it up and now that it looks ok I'll find it a better spot. Pic 2 is some of my first potted on wallflowers, and the other is the exciting (to me 😄) first showing of my dahlia tuber, which touch wood should fulfil my ambition for that plant, the David Howard I wanted 👍️. I have been dotting some Verbena B plants about the garden too today that I overwintered, and generally poking about. Glad you got your border weeded 😊 I bet that looks super. All mine are done, er, not 😬 but some. The honeywort are looking lovely and the bees are v keen on them, and the rosemary. I should have a few new seeds in the post soon, bought with the nasturtiums, including a butterhead lettuce type. I set my heart on some National Trust seeds because I fell in love with the packets, very 'Granpaw Broon', but you can't seem to get them anywhere easily and not on their own website 🤷‍♀️😧 can't think why they wouldn't. Hope all goes well with your next gardening & seed-sowing wave 🌻😊 xx btw love that little garden & table pic today 😍.

good evening all.

Woke up with really bad head this morning which is really anniying coz we were all off to Duxford again today as Anda gets free tickets through work.
i was so cross because I got up for pills at 5am and head was more or less okay, then 6:30 I was really bad again. I did the exercises my doc gave me and sat still and drank a coffee with honey and it slowly started to ease, enough that I could get ready to go, do the exercises again, get bike out and go. Had best picnic ever sitting on grass at Duxford watching a Spitfire doing Cuban8s and barrel rolls. I did feel rough again but think that was more the walking (even though i got the mini bus whenever i could) so I took some more pills and went and had another coffee for a while.

I WATERED THE GARDEN, and all the plants survived. My gardening skills are terrible, which is annoying coz I really enjoy spending time out there even when i’m not tinkering with the bikes.

Toni did I read that the Fig is off the road? Surely not?????

Jojo and Reshmi and Dachshund and Toady and everyone thank you so much for the well wishes. I do flick on here when i can when I am really rough and reading all your posts does lift my spirits. So Thank you so much.

I like the parcel postbox idea in theory but you’re right there are bound to be glitches, the main one is that BR had melted down jelly babies and put them in the interior of the new postboxes so they will eat your nosegay parcels - oh dear

Never fear Penelope is fine it was the 'normal car' the Juke which was ill cost a fair bit but is also ok now. Penelope and I were enjoying the sun.

Kari will be fine honestly it's a relief for us both to know what had happened she felt so odd. Really difficult when they keep messing with the makes and doses of your meds though. She will never do that again for sure.

Yes buses have become very modern! Hehe! I can pay on my phone, but prefer cash or my card but it only costs £3 so a bargain into town if you aren't carrying much. I love ours being back as you might remember with the big roadworks here we had no service for over 6 months! Terrible.
