This is not the lovely weather is it frog 😕 well it might be as far as it goes if you want some garden rain but I expect you too draw the line at days' worth 😬. Have been out briefly but the wind is not nice either, shame, as it's the last dry bit. Hope the rain does help out your garden when we get it, some things will be glad of it, no question. I have one or two more possible showings of the new seedling 👍️ I should have said this was an indoor torchlight examination not outdoors in the dark, though it has been known of me I expect 😂. 2 ageratum for you & more to follow I'm sure, are they the same colour or mixed? Yes wallflowers in the warm sunshine, beautiful smell 😊 I will try & find them places, they can be grouped and also can pop a few in pots while I wait & see what colours come up. I will try & do a bit more other planting &c when poss but will be a bit otherwise occupied 😣 yes Sleek's cupboard is beautifully tidy, an example to us all, to me anyway and I certainly need it 😄 though I am trying to tidy my beloved garage, but people won't let me, have to keep squirreling things in there out of the gangway for now. One day 🤞. I have had a sneak preview of her 2nd best toolbag and it is all good stuff 😀. Hello Joan, I see about Charlie he goes his own way, what can you do 🤷‍♀️ I suppose he has to make his own choices, I don't always do what the docs say 😳 but hopefully he will meet them halfway maybe 🤞. My parents enjoyed the visit Thanks I was mostly my mum who enjoyed as they visited her female friend who she is very close to even though they have not met for a long time. I’m glad she did something for herself and had fun.👍👍

BR and LA are having a great time in Dubai

only BR had a bit of a tantrum because his parents very understandably didn’t let him ride a camel

and a picture was taken by my sister of him posing next to the camels with arms outstretched as if saying “silly mummy I am a grown man im four years old and I still haven’t been given a camel -riding licence”

Yes it was a small respite when my parents went out but still it was good just to have that little bit of peace and freedom. Thanks
when it gets a bit cold, my throat congestion comes back a bit plus the streaming nose et cetera but it’s a lot better than it used to be and I’m using the seawater spray as and when I need to

Toni one very funny thing I forgot to mention I’m reading the basic Mental Health book about journalling, organising thoughts and so on

and it’s written such a funny way the most recent part I read said

that people should organise this thoughts And make a list of priorities at least in their heads because otherwise what might happen is that life might try and run them over and he uses such funny metaphors what he actually says at this point is that life might try and run them over as if they were people who looks like the bosses of that angry male bus driver called Tony,

I almost wrote in and complained “Sorry Toni does not drive a bus. She drives a Figaro and she is a female as well, and even though she gets stressed like everybody else at times, she’s not an angry person and she’s never tried to run anyone over, boss or otherwise, as far as I know- mind you I probably should have a good chat with sleek just to verify haha

sorry you had some ookey rain today

in my locality it was actually quite pleasant for me at least on the cool side I even slept in my own bed in the daytime, not the one in the cold room which was so much better for my back
My skin is also a lot happier on days like this, as is probably the case with Toni’s too.

I texted the elderly bipolar gentleman to try to arrange a call at short notice,

but he’s not feeling too well, he’s Taking antibiotics for something bless him

so I’ll try another time but I did my duty as it were.

I mean He’s a nice person it’s not exactly a duty, but as you know how it is when the call goes on and on into the next century that can be a bit worrying 😱

Remember when I told you I was trying to track down a certain friends on Facebook that has disappeared due to a glitch most probably?

Well it looks like I wasn’t successful in that attempt but that’s the problem with Facebook, Well one of the many problems as we all know ha ha

what I mean is that there’s so many glitches it’s not really that reliable anymore and of course Facebook is no place of people who are mentally vulnerable.
An example is my autistic friend, He’s a nice guy but he doesn’t understand that being obsessed with Facebook isn’t good for him. He trusts everybody bless him

once all he did was say that some woman had nice hair and she really got angry

I feel very sorry for him. His family don’t really help him and he doesn’t live with them either.

He’s only in his late 20s. He looks to me for advice and I do advise when I can but I’m no expert in his condition of course.
Talking of hair, how many clips do you propose we should wear when we walk down the catwalk of life?

16 or at least 13 would be good for me in theory, but maybe 13 has spookily bad connotations for the superstitious?

Morning Toady hope all is well with you. it's definitely rained overnight here. Hopefully dry enough at least for my walk if not some gardening. Not so nice at all the last day or so, but our gardens do need it.

Lucy was sick yesterday so I will pop in to see her later.

Sleek is exceptionally well organised otherwise how would everything fit in that ickle house? Her 4th best toolbox is better than even Paul's first best one. Very impressive isn't it? Elfie is feeling the cold today and has resorted to putting his scarf back on. Sleek is keeping him company.

Hopefully more ageratums to come. Will pot on Elfie's seedlings I think I can do that inside. at least. Do you go looking for snails in the dark though? Talking of looking with reading specs and torches that's what I used to do on COVID tests. That seems a long time ago now.

Hi Joan I think that what Charlie's got is quite serious and might be orthostatic hypertension.

I am quoting this "….Orthostatic hypertension may be associated with a higher risk of cardiovascular events, including heart attack and stroke…." I hope he'll go back to the Dr so they can work out why he's got it and get treated for it.

I can see he's a law unto himself though, so good luck trying to get him there. Maybe he'll get a follow up appointment in the post🤞

After the meal in alfresco we did a bit of food shopping.
The whole thing seems to take a long time that’s why I’m late with messages etc

It was nice though because I don’t often get to go out with mum she thinks I’ll shout in the shop ha ha

The food was nice too. I ordered a veggie breakfast a late veggie breakfast that is but they got a bit confused and gave me vegan sausages, I think but it was okay.
They didn’t upset my stomach. It was a famous brand probably shouldn’t mention it here.

They used to upset my stomach when I had them a long time ago at university because I don’t like pork sausages find them disgusting, but this time touch wood my stomach was not upset so that was really good. Very nice to have that meal as a change

Problem is dad call obsessed with phoning someone when he was in the supermarkets and he was quite obnoxious in that way he ignored us ignored everyone.

Oh well that the meal was nice and it was good to enjoy that with mum that was the main thing

group tomorrow so have to organise stuff even though I’m doing a bit of face planting almost
I checked with mum ER are actually coming home very early Wednesday morning I think half one

So it’s like the flight is really tonight even though technically it’s tomorrow morning if that makes sense lol
Yes, camel riding is only for the Brave and I’m not one of them either Toni don’t worry

I remember once we went to Morocco I think it was I was very young maybe 14 or something like that and my dad made me ride one of the camels it was terrifying.

The camel almost spat on me and it was very disgusting.
Sorry toady if you’re eating biscuits at this time didn’t mean to put you off ha ha

but yes camel rides are distinctly ookey

especially with the camel seem to be having a bit of a mood swing whether it was pm - related I didn’t ask - it was a bit too personal haha
