    How are you today?

    A busy day with family presumably?

    Who has the dubious pleasure of preparing the roast dinner and syncing it with all the food prep - timings? Or is that not something you do on such occasions?

    My stomach is just about ok Toni

    This time tomorrow is when cannot vouch for my gastric state unfortunately 🤷‍♀️

    My left foot is also a bit sore, it gets that way sometimes, maybe I twisted it at night, I don’t know, I also stumbled on it when I saw a dog this morning, the hot shower definitely helped, but it’s still a bit ookey, but no doubt it will improve with paracetamol and time

    Still anything is better than baby S*Ark lol

    I’m not sure how fruit salad got that tasty lol

    But it shows how well my sis is feeding them, she always makes sure to give them a lot of fruit daily, whereas to bill of course an apple only brings to mind his overpriced phone.The only significance of a tomato to him is that it rhymes with a potato well technically ha ha

    Well one good thing is that I managed to walk and sleep today because the EF are coming a bit later than I originally thought so that’s something

    My mum said that the littleys are of course staying over, but we’re not going to the cinema anything like that just staying at home tomorrow

    At least no fried cinema- related chicken nuggets etc 👍

    The banana - hating little daughter was too young to express herself other than by facial expression unfortunately, I may have embroidered her sentiments in the name of poetic licence haha

    👋 Toni you were absolutely right- my main thought at this precise moment is indeed “Fruit salad yummy yummy” I found out this was actually a real song sung mainly by S Street characters including non - analytical C***ie Monster, so that’s a conflict of interests surely? the biccie monster singing of the nutritious non - saturated fat - related fruit glories? How bizarre lol.

    I’m more tired than toady was in her search for small delicate ladylike hair clips - oh dear

    Plus my foot is still sore but no doubt that will improve overnight

    BR told me if the cat comes give it all the salmon, which cat I wonder?

    Maybe Sleek’s cousin is also holidaying in Reading? Its a possibility

    BR wore big bro’s slippers as they matched his outfit he told me, what a fashionable little chap

    LA said BR is his little follower - it sounds a bit narcissistic to me 😂😂

    👋Joan hi, the kids enjoyed the Easter egg hunt a lot thanks, my sister organised most of it and put little eggs all over the house too like in the washing machine and the fridge haha.

    Yes tis I who cooks for big family celebrations such as Easter I don't mind at all in fact I enjoy it. How did yours go? and how did the boys manage BR's first night at yours?

    Well I do like fruit salad, but a whole song about it? Mind you I once wrote a song about a pair of sandals I had where one toe stuck out (the little one) Kari and I still sing it to this day! One about our (then) dog and one about a small scraggy toy Monkey I found. So who am I to judge.

    Now I get it!! It was the Rookie monster's song first!!!!

    Don't tell Toady, but I am wearing a hair thingy with two (yes TWO!) tiny hairclips securing it! 🤫

    I am glad to hear no cinema trip this time I think that might be a lot for BR's first overnight stay maybe. Did LA look after him properly? Apart from calling him 'a follower'. Little cutie in his big bro's slippers🤗

    Morning frogmorton yeah I finally got a bit of sleep thanks yeah I've not heard anything back from the last appointment at the phisyo. Mind I still never got any results back from the heart monitor I got put on over a month ago I completely give up with the NHS. Anyway I hope you are well and I hope you enjoy your bank holiday Monday I start work at 2pm and finish 6:30 today so I get the evening with my family.

    Morning all

    Hope you’re all enjoying your Easter so far. Mine has been quite busy. Was at Church for Good Friday service and communion. Some of our the congregation then did a walk of witness around the street very locally to the church myself and a couple of our older ladies sat in our church cafe and waited for them to come back for coffee and hot cross buns. Mr T went on the walk. So Saturday I had a bit of a lazy day. And of course Easter Day service yesterday. Today though I will be taking it easy as this week all activities are back to normal.
    Tomorrow I have to go for blood test to our closest hospital, as about 3 months ago after a blood test I was advised I came in the pre diabetic category all be it right on the borderline. so have been trying to eat healthier and to bring it back to normal. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that the result of this test show what I have been doing has been effective. And taken me below the borderline.

    HI TONI the family are all well thanks as for Myself and Mr T and youngest daughter we are just jogging along as usual with our aches and pains.

    Have any of you had problems with getting appointments at your dr surgery since Covid ours seems impossible to get one without waiting about 2/3 weeks for it, This is also the reason I have to go to the local hospital for my blood test. Now the latest is our Chemist have sent a message out saying they are now charging £6 a month for home delivery it’s getting ridiculous.

    Ok I think it’s time I stopped moaning and got on with the day. Hope you all enjoy the rest of Easter. 🐣🐣🐣🐰🐰🐰

    Hi all 👋 peak chaos here 😱🤪😂 but on schedule for tomorrow, and weather being kind sort of, although could do without rain tomorrow night.     Carol my GPs are not as good as they were definitely but partly because 2 surgeries combined into one here and it wasn't an improvement 🙄 I order prescriptions online & get them through the post, (depends on 'postability' of course). Always used to have pharmacy deliveries but yes it increasingly worked less well, stock problems etc etc. Hope your good work has indeed paid off with attending to your diet, your weekend sounded nice 😊 take care xx

    Morning Carol. I thought you'd have a fair few services to go to over Easter. Does your Church do 'agape'? You know sharing a meal like the last supper?

    Good luck with getting your bloods back within the normal range - if you are close but not quite there I am sure they'll give you more time. You are totally doing the right thing trying to sort it yourself. So many people are happy to just take the tablets and carry on overeating. Obviously I do not mean the type 1 diabetics. I've probably said before but I know two people on the edge of type 2 (well one was already there) who reversed it and l know you can do it too.

    I had no idea chemists could charge to deliver meds! Honestly! My sister has hers delivered I'll ask her is she pays…..Our GP surgery is always empty if you go in (maybe one or two waiting max), but can you get an appt? No way!!! Terrible.

    Hi toady sorry to hear that your neighbour is being noisy I hope the workmen won't be too much of a nuisance for you and I hope you get your house sorted soon. No I still struggled to get to sleep but I'm surviving just about. I've been in touch with the doctors again about my results she said she's going to chase it up for me so hopefully I get my results back today.

    LA said there is a bad witch who sits next to his bed at night but he just bravely closes his eyes and she vanishes before morning

    I think this witch is nasty M, she’s so obsessed with getting a good seat that she has invaded the kids’ room 😱

    I will have to defeat her with mima - superpower- or maybe just throw a fruit salad (yummy yummy) flavoured with lemon juice right in her eyes

    Yes we all got tired but we’re ok thanks
