Morning Coco
Wow you have been busy this morning, I am only just "coming round" I'll join you in a cuppa though!
Cath0 -
morning Cath, ive been up since 3am, so just been pottering around slowly. here is a fresh brew for you. i hope you are ok today0
-
Thanks coco, cuppa gratefully received - Up since 3? does that tell me that you are not too good this morning- hope not. I feel better this morning in that my really bad headache has gone away, but my back hurts a bit more than usual - think its self inflicted though due to doing a bit too much in the garden yesterday - Lesson learned though!
Cath0 -
im ok cath a bit sore and a bit of a cold but mainly just couldnt switch off properly last night. got to take my son to look for a bike later (im sure there is another garden centre to be found whilst were out ) and then im putting my feet up and resting,
arthur is a menace but so is the fibro and i know arthur is just waiting to kickin properly and drain the energy levels. one day i will learn not to try and out run him, but not today. (still not got my head around this pacing myself bussiness)
im glad your head is better, take it easy today and rest your back.0 -
Bit of a cold to,that's the problem when your immune system is a bit shot up,if there is something around you catch it :x
Will settle down to a hot Ribena if Val's cafe does such an exotic drink,if not got my hip flask with me.''Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy''. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)0 -
Oh not had ribena since I was a child, that and rose hip syrup. my parents gave us both regularly along with haliborange tablets!
We were healthy kids though and never had the runny nose syndrome that most of the kids in my class had!

My mum and Nan used to give me the Haliborange tablets too. That brings back memories!!
Still managed to have the runny nose syndrome like the other kids though lolJaki0 -
I have just got up from an afternoon nap, so I am in need of a cup of tea anyone else want one?
Cath0 -
If anyone's in need of a serious 'pick me up' I can recommend the cafs 'special tea' - wahoo still buzzing off it - look at me I can flyyyy!0
-
i wish the cafe would do a special coffee, could do with some but cant stand that dish water stuff you all call tea :shock:0
-
Dish water. That reminds me, I always drink earl grey tea, very week, and my brother always calls it dirty dish water.
Have any of you ever tried elderflower cordial. It is really refreshing and lovelly as a hot drink to.
Karen xxKaren xx0 -
I will stick to the 'special' Tea rather than the herbal stuff that a lot of other people drink.
I have tried a variety of herbal teas and the only thing I can honestly say about them is that they are disgusting. How they can call themselves tea is beyond me. The only thing is it comes in a bag and is made with hot water!!!Jaki0 -
just popped in for evening cup of hot chocolate and fancy an almond slice or is it bakewell tart.
just read your comments on special tea - tried ginger tea and thought it was disgusting in fact will bring it along tomorrow so you can all try - will be fun to see who pulls them funniest face
anyone for a brew ?
Katie x0 -
Hi Katie - Hot choc for me too please
Cath0 -

Thanks Katie, will be drinking this and off to bed. Had a very quiet day I am on hol this week. I have been resting today as I overdid it gardening yesterday, even had an afternoon nap.
Hope you are well

Morning Tony, Coco & Val
Tony sorry you are not feeling good at the moment, I have missed you! Val you enjoy the natter on your breakfast out --- nothing like a good natter!
Coco hope you are well this morning. Well a cuppa on the cards for a starter I think but what shall I have for breakfast?
Cath0 -
Morning to you all, I do hope that you are feeling better Tony, and I would love an earl grey pretty please.
I'll have a tea cake, naughty but nice.

Morning Karen & Elizabeth.
Oh dear Elizabeth looks like you need a trip to the shops!
Cath0 -
Tony, try one of your special teas
though I warn you - now that the world has come back into focus I appear to have a load of strapping on my right knee :???:
Must have been the O.T/physio guy yesterday, I vaguely remember some conversation about how it might hold my very wobbly mistracking knee cap in place and I was still buzzing off the tea to think about consequences! Actually not causing any additional pain so that's good but getting irritated by it restricting my movements even more than usual so might take it off!
Soooo I think I need an Irnbru to get things moving.
what was the drink that reaches the parts other drinks can't reach?
