    evening all

have come for comfort food - been a bit of a day here.
Had a phone call to tell me my uncle died yesterday. They were trying to get in touch with my dad but couldn't. Spent ages keeping ringing him till he got in from shopping. It doesn't matter how old someone is or how expected it is, it still hurts :(

Right ...... I fancy a bacon buttie & brown sauce, with a side order of chips, and chocolate cake and a huge special hot chocolate please :D:D

Seems lots of us had problems getting on here yesterday, but I got on fine today ..... hope it was just the weather that caused problems. :? :?

    hugs to everyone

Evening to one and all, not sure who is in bed and who is awake. I think Tony has gone to bed, so n night and rest well.

Let's scatter some hugs to start with. Hope people have had a fair day, or even better.
Annoyed that the recorder failed to get Strictly, failed, for unknown reason's it said. Mmmmmmmmph, not best pleased. I do like to watch the dancing. Can you believe it, I used to dance a lot, modern and jive and could easily do the splits, now, I would be in traction if I even tried

Hi Debs, hope you are ok. I might pinch one of those chips, (despite having some earlier, Mark's chunky oven chips, very nice they were too).

I can feel a cup of T coming on and the maltesers are calling me from the tin. I am very partial to them and find it almost impossible to share, how bad is that............

    HI Debs, BUbbles & Tony

thanks for your lovely posts. and the chips and buttie :D:D

Bubbles .... you got me thinking about dancing ... I was never much good, but a couple of years after we got married we started going to ballroom dancing classes. I really enjoyed it, though we were not the best pupils, as neither of us picked things up very quickly  but we did get on really well with the jive - I think that was meant to be our dance. However, just then my hands and feet started to be really painful, and I used to accuse hubby of holding on too hard, when in fact it was horrid arthur getting going :x :x :x so didn't do much dancing after that

Shall we put the music on and have a cyber 'bop'?

right ........ CD player all set up ..... who's choosing the music?

Glenn Miller :D love his music ....... can't sit listening with a frown on my face to that ... it always makes me smile :D:D

Good to dance to as well ...... plenty of rhythm for those who find music hard to dance to (my hubby for one :lol::lol: )

not done line dancing before ... always looks impressive!

quiet on here now .... think most peeps have gone to bed or can't get on here.

might have to go myself soon ...... when the pills start to kick in.

Have you got any plans for tomorrow Bubbles or are you having a pottering resting day?

tomorrow, off to see the folks, see how they are, gather some shopping from mark's (you know how I love to go there). That will be the 6th day on the trot that we have been out, either hospitals, GP, consultant, getting a bit jittery that the house is being neglected and I am feeling a bit jaded to be honest. Monday I will have to have a potter at home day. Joints are screaming beneath the haze of drugs, which are only just keeping a lid on things.

I used to go to the Adelphi dance studio's, got bronze silver and gold for modern and jive, but that is a lifetime ago.

sorry Bubbles, computer slowed down so only just seen your post.

no wonder you feel jaded with the week you have had, I hope you can have a day for you on Monday ... it sounds like you need it to recover. DOn't try doing the housework all at one go :!:

since the computer is playing up I'll just grab a quick cuppa and then go to bed.

    I hope you sleep well

Thanks WOnky, you rest well too, sending hugs to you and yours. Take lots of care. Me, rest? When will I ever stop pottering? I cannot do the housework I once used to, cannot vacuum now, even dusting can give me angina, so I have to try and pace myself. A day at home will be nice though.

Right, the medicine trolley is out, fire is aglow, cuddles was getting a bit close, so the fire guard is in place. Marigold is settled in fresh straw, munching on haylage (is that right)?

Pots are done, tables bleached, cake tin full of goodies.

I am well medicated, just time to have my last cuppa, some biscuits, then head to bed.

Everyone take care, hugs to all far and wide. XXX Bubbles
